Because tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of the tornado that ripped up my hometown and killed a lot of people, and I keep thinking about things that I've been trying to block out for a year, that I don't want to think about, but tonight I just can't stop thinking about them. And its annoying because I keep randomly starting to cry, and all the rest of the time I'm weirdly numb.

We don't watch the news, the thing that actually got me thinking about it was when I was checking my email and Joplin High School popped up as a trending topic on Yahoo's homepage.
That's why I'm on mene and reading a book. Avoiding it. I'm listening to music. That's helping a little bit. |
