I'm currently sitting directly in front of a fan, which is blowing nicely on my back - because the AC is not working properly at work. They have to turn it off to fix it - and to make it even better they are painting offices on my floor. So not only is it hot but it is also stinky - my head is not happy.

otherwise I'm not too bad - but I have a feeling we are going to run out of fans very soon - and the poor TA's will suffer because the faculty keep stealing them out of the TA office. :?

You would think with me not having AC at home I would be used to it - but really it feels hotter here than at home. I think it's because at home the house is open and I spend my time in the basement with the dehumidifier - where as here it is downright muggy in my building.

Oh well - I guess the fan is helping - me headache is a little better anyway - probably due in part to the fumes being blown away from me.

yeah - unfortunately since I'm at a university summer is really the only time of year that faculty aren't around and people have time for the projects - it sucks.

This woman has to be 100 years old and has no idea what she is doing with this accounting program. I have been on the phone for over an hour explaining stupid stuff!! ARGHH!!

Oy - that sounds really frustrating.

I remember one time my boyfriend was on the phone trying to help a faculty member for 2 hours - after he hung up he broke his phone slamming it into his desk in frustration.

I think she finally got the hint when she heard me snoring, lmao.

I just hope that if I reach that age and my mental faculties are still sort of functional (although I will be decidedly crazy, I've already decided, lol) that I have sense enough to stay away from things that will confuse me and I won't take two hours of someone's time. I'll go buy a book.

I had a friend that used to go to Michael's (craft store) and buy up the dried poppies they had and make tea with them. They stopped selling them because people were doing this.
