Gah! It's things like this that make me glad I'm not in school anymore! :P
I agree with you eternal.
There was a purkle moose in Flink's yard the other day! O_O
It tried to eat the tires from her truck. Silly purkle moose. |
HEHEHE. Although, I really do need to start taking classes agian--maybe next semester I can squeeze one in, but work is too busy this semester, and I have to go get a part-time job to pay the bills and afford Christmas now that I've moved out of my dad's house and have these things called "bills..."
Are you living in an apartment, or what?
Yeah, I'm in an apartment, so have the added expences of rent and heat and gass and cable that I didn't have when I was living for free with my dad. But it's SO worth it now!
How did you get rid of the purkle moose? Or did it wander away on it's own? |
Oh yes, Christmas is coming too fast.
Purkle moose are apparently afraid of cute, grey tabby kittens. The one Flink has just wandered up to it, the moose screeched (very unmooselike) then ran off.
Where do you live? About how much is your rent and such? (Flink is being nosy because she REALLY wants to move out and she's going to try and ask people as many questions as possible. XD) Flink couldn't gather this from your post about work, do you have a job already? Or are you looking for one? |
No kidding Roo! I was in the store last nigh and they were already setting up the holiday displays. It's absolutely insane to be quite honest with you. Let's get through Halloween and Thanksgiving first.
Flink hates that no one celebrates Hallowe'en anymore. >.< But most believe it's because that's her birthday.
Really it's because she just loves the day. She gets to dress up and pretend she's something she's not! And candy. <3 |
I have to agree. They rush things so much. I think that at least Halloween could be over before Christmas is displayed. I work retail for the Christmas Holiday and they start with the music in the mall well before Thanksgiving. It's the worst 2 months of my year.
Local grocery store starts mid-way of October. They butchered Flink's favourite radio station last year on her BIRTHDAY, for a holiday channel.
The channel never did come back. They said, "96.5 the Buzz will be back after the holidays!" Holidays ended and it's not "96.5 Easy Listening." T_T |
@ Flink--that's TERRIBLE! I hate when stations go to all holiday music for like 2 months on end--at least around here it's usually the oldies stations that do it, so I'm not missing anything. But yeah, our grocery store hasn't started with the holiday stuff yet, but all the discount stores have. It's terrible.
I agree. It's like the same songs day in and day out. No variety at all. A Christmas song here or there is ok but not all day long for 2 months. That's just too much.
Me too. That's when CD's are great!!!
I listen to the rock stations that never play holiday music unless it's one of those parody songs, so it's all good. But yes, holiday music gets so repetitive and boring after a while--I have the music I like on my iPod and will play that when I'm in the mood for it. But that's about it.
I agree completely.
Wooohooo, made 100 gold today. I'm finally over 1000 gold. Not much but I've never had this much before at one time. *is excited* |
It is nice to see you all chatting again. Must have been difficult for a few days.
YAY Roo! I'm just trying to catch up on all the gold I haven't been earning wiht may laziness-induced hiatus arounf here. It's really bad of me; I sit around bored at night, but do nothing but flip back and forth between MySpace and Facebook all evening when I could be chatting and earning gold. Or even (gods forbid) doing something practical with my time.
