meatwad is kinda stupid >.>
@dessertdesiert I don't know if I am a great parent like Roocee says but I try really hard to listen to my son... Even when he is talking complete nonsense... Like today at that stupid meeting I told Michael to go and play with the trains in block area where all of the other children were playing. So he took the box and went to block area where there were a few others playing with various toys one of which was a little boy who had been hitting/ kick etc all of the other children if he found they had a toy he wanted in his possession! Well Mike dumped the trains which is a pain but is still normal.. and that little boy did something to him to get the trains (still haven't gotten the full story though Mikes tears over this one...) And Michael hit him (something I have actually been trying to teach him because he is being bit and pick on a LOT at this daycare and he doesn't defend himself!)... And I saw the hit... I immediately went over to both the boys and asked what happened. All the other boy said was "These are My trains" over and over and over again... So I waited for Michael to reply cause he was in tears (probably fearing I was just going to punish him for hitting and not find out what is going on like everyone at that stupid daycare does) All I really got between the tears and asking him repeatedly was "Mommy I dumped the trains *insert sob* he *sob* *sob* *sob* me and I hit him!"
What pissed me off the most is my boss came in when I was asking him what happened and just told me to send him to the office for hitting. He went to the office twice in the matter of less then an hour and a half... Now think of what his 9 hour day is like it is no wonder he begs me not to go to school in the morning. He hates it there and I can't do a whole lot about it T_T But I need to learn to listen to him it is ridiculous... And another thing this little excursion was suppose to be a "FAMILY NIGHT" why were all the kids out of the room are they not family enough to be included in the "FAMILY NIGHT" I found that asinine! |
You are a good mom Jaz. I just can't believe what that place is doing. It just makes no sense. Why should he get sent to the office for defending himself? That's not fair.
purkle sounds like its the place to be =] how does one get on the road to becoming one? xD
@ Jaz- that sounds ridiculous... They just send him to the office for getting hit and picked on. They should send both the kids to the office if this thing happens on a normal basis, the kid needs to be punished and not get to play...
I feel bad for Micheal though, that type of stuff shouldn't happen. When he gets older it might just get worse. I would hate to see that happen to someone.. Hi Eileanora. You just need to hang out here to become a purkle.. I suppose >.> |
Oh for the joys of parenting, I am glad I am not a parent yet. I do appreciate parents alot though for what they do, I have a friend the same age as me who has a kid, four year old son who is always getting into trouble at kindy.
Oh Jaz, that is ridiculous. I feel for you and Michael, I really do. And I hope that the parents that don't give a rat's nether region about thier kids someday realize just how terrible they are growing up to be.
I agree Eternal. Just hope that someday they will get theirs and you can sit back and smile.
Oh Jaz that sucks!
It's terrible that when kids stick up for themselves they get punished the same (if not more) than the trouble makers. I sure hope things get better for you there! |

@jaz. i've had issues concerning the way students are disciplined, while i was catholic school, it seemed like bullying was the thing, but i was get in trouble more for trying to defend myself, was i suppose to just let them continue berating me?
