we have one of the longest hangout threads here! i know some are several hundred pages ahead of us, but i think we're doing pretty well since we've only been here a few weeks 8)

I like the new game, mostly because it's not cards and therefore doesn't eat my gold! It isn't giving me any today, however, because I hadn't figured out what to do by the time I used up all my submits. XDD Oh, well!
Also, thanks Purkles. I was tempted to go sign back up for Neopets thanks to the neo chatter around the Purkle couch! I didn't realize they ask for your birthdate now on sign in - I couldn't use my old account, the one I'd made up a birthdate for. D'oh! |

No OCD here. I hope you don't have a severe case though, I've seen how hard that can be.
I'm so, so tired this morning. We spent half the night last night in the Kitty ER with Bandit. WARNING! The following may be a bit gross... Here's what happened: All the cats get fed seperately twice a day. They cannot free-feed because the two males just eat and eat and eat and the female wouldn't get anything. So, anyway, Bandit eats his meals in the bathroom and he is quite used to the routine. Last night, just a little after 8pm, he was let out and we discovered that he had pooped in the tub. Okay, no biggie, right? WRONG! There was two drops of bright red blood...one in the poop and one right next to it. We looked at his butt and there was blood there too and it was dripping a bit. So, we called the Vet ER at the University of MN and they told us that we needed to bring him in. We live close, so it took about 20 minutes to get over there and it wasn't busy so we got in right away. A vet student saw him first and did the interview and examination, then a vet came in a examined him too. They didn't find anything abnormal. They did say it could be anything from a tumor to a broken capillary in his colon, but most likely was just the capillary. They just advised us to watch him closely and to *try* to follow him and watch him use the litterbox. :lol: So, anyway, I ended up getting about 5 hours of sleep and now I have to work a 12 hour shift. I just want to go home and go back to bed. :P That's all. |
Oh my gosh Amy!!!! That had to be just a touch scary!!! I can see why you would be so very tired......and now you have to put in a 12 hour shift!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I hope you are able to get a good sleep in tonight! That's a really long couple of days! I hope everything turns out okay with your kitty!
I'm wondering if the new game is glitchy yet.....or if it's set on a whole 24 hour since you submitted your last score thing....because I tried playing this morning and it told me I could only submit 3 scores a day. This would be the first time I tried playing today.... :? |
Jenni that's some worrisome news, are you going to have to take medication or something now?
Amy, your poor kitty, and poor you too :( hope you get through your shift ok.. i might try the new game again today, i can probably get up to 45 again, but i know that i wont get beyond it! but i think i shall get bored with it fairly swiftly actually. |
Thanks Lucky. :) It was pretty scary, ya know, since we have no kids, the cats are our babies. When anything goes wrong with them it always makes me so worried.
I'm having the same problem with the new game. I hope it's not a whole 24 hours between plays...that would make it difficult. I don't even remember what time I played it at yesterday! lol |

Ok, that game could get rather addicting for me. I'm not the fastest clicker...lol but it's kinda fun.
Oh, I never thought of reheating fries in the oven either. I will definately have to try that because I normally just throw left overs out because I hate the microwave texture of them. |
So, we spend ALOT of time at work talking about food. I mentioned that Adam is making Tater Tot Hot Dish for dinner tonight and my co-worker from Michigan has never heard of it. Have you guys heard of it before? Have you ever had it? It is really, really good so if anyone is interested maybe I'll post the recipe tomorrow.
Hot Dish or Casserole...which do you say? Here, we say hot dish, but non-Minnesotans always look at me weird when I say it. lol Since I brought it up now, what other different sayings do you have? |

Darn, darn, darn! I played the new game and got a bad score on the first try sent it anyway to see if was working and it went through. Then, I played again and got 608, my highest score so far, and it won't send now. :cry:

I like the female aquatica stuff, but I am not so fond of the make versions. But I love the scythe. It goes with my punk-death avi over there.

amersmnt, I'm glad they didn't find anything drastically wrong with your kitty, but yeah, that must have been scary! Not to mention expensive and tiring. I hope you're coping well enough today.
I like the Gaia items, but not in an "OMG MUST HAVE THEM NOW" way. If they had yellow kitty eyes in the version of the eye things, I'd be much more excited about them. As they are, I don't think I'd use them much. I can see the mermaid outfit being the most popular version of the letter by far. It's such a pretty theme, and goes together so well! Picture that with the Water Elemental hair...it would be awesome. *nod* Visitor, I think I like the scythe too, although it's almost a little bit too bulky for my tastes. I may stay with my Katana. However, it would really match the Shadow Spirit death version thing, too. I bet it looks great with your av, though, if that's your theme. It would be ideal. |
SV - the aquatica stuff is different on the male avatar? Makes me tempted to shoot one of mine over to my male mule to see. I had to buy two of those because I love the pearly headdress that goes so well with the mertail. I didn't care for the eye one. I'll eventually get it because my OC side is forcing me to quest for all the MCs over there, even the crappy ones that no one seems to like.

I'm glad to hear that everyone seems to be doing better. Not much going on here. I'm still the evil mother with the grounded kids :lol: It is starting to get to Cheyenne now. She asks me everyday if she could check her email "real quick" and I'm like nope. She didn't get to go to her friend's house today either. Maybe she'll do her homework from now on. I went and got my nails done and got a pedicure today. It was so nice. I needed the break. I like the new game. Farthest I've gotten is 48 and then I screw up. I like the scythe on Gaia. Goes with my "Predator" type wicked rather well. I still need a bunch of stuff for it though so it will be a while before I look like that. |
in other good news today i got my wicked wickdefied Wickedtecha is now wicked officially he has his luner cowel alto no net top it wouldn't let the cowel be on top like in the pic in his siggy and he has the luner hair too.
alto i not sure sure about his "date" she is standing right in the middle of his raptor fire tail i can just see her running off with a very toasty bum oh i also like the mermaid one i have the fishes around mine atm i see a dory fish and a nemo fish too my son will point that out so its cool |
i had this cardinal trying to desperately make a nest in my basement but was stopped cuz of the window. so i was feeling kinda sad for it i didn't want it to knock it's self out on my window. i called my mom and she told me to get our stuffed cat named stuffy and put it in the window after i did that he stopped trying to splatter him self on our window. i could see the female cardinal in the bushes behind him and i took a picture of him too. they wanted to nest i don't see cardinals that often so i thought it was cool
it was kinda sad too. i had to share with some one |
