i have vista roo my brother put it on my comp cuz it got over welmed with spyware it seem ok to me but i had avery hard time getting ot to conact to my wireless hub. my brother had to take the wireless from before we got the airport and use that that is how i have my internet now. i can't play my maple story now it's not compatible with a lot of vidgames

in other news i went to the dentist and i need 10 teeth pulled
and with no insurance so we working on getting insurance so it don't cost my mom a mint to fix my teeth. for the last 3 days i have had throbbing pain in my left side jaw in that side in need 3 teeth and one wisdom pulled there and i have cracked and deterated teeth that need to come out.

my dentist is nice they are very attentive to your needs they try to make sure they won't hurt you. they have comfie couches to sit on a fish tank , coffee and snacks

roocee 05-08-2007 03:57 PM

Ouch 10 at one time....wow.

I remember the problems you had Selena which is what is making me a bit concerned. I guess I will just have to pray.

siaasgn 05-08-2007 06:04 PM

 10 at once is a lot - I hope everything works out for you. makes my mouth hurt thinking about it . . . here's wishing you no pain.

Mama Juru 05-08-2007 06:23 PM

Yikes! 10 at once?! That's awful. Seems like the dentist would break it down in to smaller more manageable chunks, like 2 at a time or something.

Rue: One of the biggest issues you will probably face is software compatibility. I would check this http://mblog.lib.umich.edu/vista_ac/ and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933305 to make sure your software that you currently have is compatible. QuickBooks has issues with Vista for sure. Not fun either.

roocee 05-08-2007 06:39 PM

Thanks Kat. That is my concern. The only software that I will have to install on my own is the Office 2003. Other than that, it's these sites (neo, gaia, yahoo, etc) that I am worried about not loading or something like that.

siaasgn 05-08-2007 06:44 PM

If they don't work in the new explorer you can always download Firefox - I know they work in that. :)

roocee 05-08-2007 07:09 PM

Oh yes, I will be downloading that. I use Mozilla alot and really like it.

jellysundae 05-08-2007 10:30 PM

I'm getting into the habit of using mozilla more again now, simply to i can use the Gaiabar on here and pretty up my posts.
I like the fact that it makes my posts recognisable, so people who might misbehave know when i'm in a thread

buffyhowe 05-08-2007 11:32 PM

thanks for the healing vibes well even if i don't get all 10 out i do need 4 out so i don't have the pain i am having now. i have to sleep on my couch cuz i have an exposed nerve so when i lie down i get a dull trumping pain. so i need to sit up and the best place to do so is on the couch.

oh yes also how do i get the gaia tool bar i have the neo one and the homestar runner one too.

jellysundae 05-09-2007 01:10 AM

i couldn't have that many toolbars, one is more than enough, i get agitated by how they reduce the page size.. but i have Mozillas at a minimum anyway, so the Gaiabar doesn't get in the way :D

Mama Juru 05-09-2007 03:55 AM

I don't have any tool bars installed on this machine and only the neo one on the other computer. I don't like all the extra stuff that gets added as a result of installing them.

siaasgn 05-09-2007 12:49 PM

yeah - most tool bars annoy me - I have the neo bar on my computer. The only other tool bar I've installed is the google tool bar.

luckycharm 05-09-2007 01:10 PM

Good morning everyone! :D Coffee? Tea?

siaasgn 05-09-2007 01:33 PM

mm . . a cup of coffee could make my morning that much better - with some vanilla creamer. mmm

How are you all this morning?

I'm pretty good - went to yoga last night after a 2 week break - I'm never taking 2 weeks off again - it was so hard! But, I always feel good right after and the next day when I go - I'm going to start going 2 times a eek (if I can afford it).

roocee 05-09-2007 01:53 PM

I would love to take a yoga class or two but the expense I just can't do right now.

Jess and I are going to start to walk around the shopping plaza across from my house. It's not big but it's a start.

siaasgn 05-09-2007 02:07 PM

That's great - it's even better that you have someone to walk with - helps you pressure each other into doing it ;)

I'm terrible at actually sticking with any type of work out - I'm really hoping I can scrounge up the money for the yoga - or that Drexel starts offering classes at a time I can take them.

I know for a while I was using a video by Leslie Sansome - Walk away the pounds - the 2 mile walk - it's mostly marching in place, kicks, knee lifts, side steps and stuff like that - it equals walking 2 miles in 1/2 hour - I was trying to walk every morning before work - but since I was walking alone there was no motivation to actually get out of bed and do it - I should try again and make my boyfriend walk with me (or ride is bike on the trainer while I walk).

I really liked the video (well - dvd) walk because I could do it any time of day or night and regardless of the weather.

roocee 05-09-2007 02:45 PM

I have Walk Away the Pounds 1, 2 and 3 mile videos. I just have no motivation to use them.

I do agree that it's much better to walk with someone because I am the same way, if I have to do it by myself I just don't do it.

@jelly...I still don't understand how to use gaia's toolbar to store fonts. I need to just sit down and try and figure it out.

Good morning purkles!

I need to get out and walk or do something. At work we are having a biggest loser competition and I gained everything I lost back when I went to New York and I can't seem to get back in the groove of not eating stuff that is bad for me. I wish someone lived closer that would walk with me. Even my friend Karina is an hour away from me.

I don't have a store on Gaia. I've considered opening one but all I really have to sell is a mountain of bugs, flowers, and fish bait.

buffy *huggles i know how that feels. I had the same thing around the beginning of the year. I ended up getting a root canal instead of pulling it because it was in the front of my mouth. (i'm already missing one tooth there, i didn't want to lose more) they ended up giving me antibiotics and tylenol 3. I was eating the tylenol like candy.

I have 2 i have to get pulled in the back of my mouth soon. They are starting to hurt when i eat.

I really hate the dentist tho. And they always charge so much, even with insurance.

edit: i've never even heard of walk away the pounds. I need to invest in this thing on our next payday.

I get so self conscious walking around town. i know people aren't, but i feel like people are watching me and judging me as I walk thinking i'm fat etc.

I know it's all part of my mild social anxiety i suffer from (self diagnosis) but it doesn't change how i feel. at least not until I get medicated lol

Aliena 05-09-2007 08:36 PM

I've started a brisk walk program too, but it's really just me doing it - not watching a video or doing a routine or anything like that. I have a 2+ mile route through my neighborhood that I'm trying to take daily. Actually, my husband wants me to vary where I go and not go the same way every time, to be safer. But I know the distance on this one route and just want to make sure I'm brisk walking at least 2 miles every day.

Mama Juru 05-09-2007 09:34 PM

I know how you feel Jaz. It always feels like people are staring at you, especially neighbors you have known you since you were a little kid. I can just hear them saying "My goodness has she gotten big".

I feel the same way about riding a bike. I don't want people to have visions of the fat girl riding off in the distance with the bike seat up her butt, LOL!

roocee 05-09-2007 10:35 PM

I feel the same way as well. I hate that feeling when I'm out anywhere that all eyes are on me and I know they really arn't.

*sigh* We lost power at work today around lunchtime. I had no computer so of course no internet and nothing to do. Finally at 4:00, I got sent home. I might not even have power tomorrow. The electric company was there when we left so I guess we shall see. No idea what happend. We had overhead lights and phones but that was all. Other buildings around us were without power too. The pizza place and gas station had to close down. So it was a very long afternoon.

Have you found the format tab on yours now?

if it's showing up..click on it then select new format. There's a space to name the format, i just use the name of the avie that each one is for, and 2 more for your opening and closing tags.
and a preview which is handy!
Hope it behaves for you! but there's always ditch it and re-install if it wont comply 8)

roocee 05-09-2007 11:11 PM

I guess I will wait until I get my new computer to install it because I don't see any button about formatting.
