Lauren. xP I was named that because I have a twin, and my mom named her after her sister, and she needed something to go with Laura. I was jipped of an original name. D:
|
Wow, 11 pages and not a single person has my name. xD (Yea, I was that bored.) My real name is Jean. x3
My parents actually decided on my Chinese name first. The only reason I got the name Jean was because my parents thought it sounded the closest to my Chinese name, which is Qing Qing (or Ching Ching for pronounciation). When I was born, my parents just asked the nurse for a name list and looked down the thing and just chose one. xD |
Haha.. My real name is.. Lance XDD
Hehe, actually Lance Blake. People call me Blake though thinking it is my name although its not :P |
Tina.
It means...'should have been born two generations ago in Brooklyn'. :wink: |
Karen. =^.^=

I feel bad! I never realized that I didn't know your real name. |
Mine is Amber, and it's a rock. :D I'm sap, woohoo. I actually really like my name. It's not too common here, but I do know some other ambers. I'm just glad I don't have a really common name like jessica, or ashley or something. and I have no idea why my mom named me Amber.

Karin
xD |
My name is : Katrina Maria Alexandra "middle name" "Last name" Yes, very long. @@ Imagine how I do an auto biography. Heh. XD Katrina, I was named this because my parents told me, it was after Princess/Queen Katherine. And that it means "strength" (yet...I seem to be very weak emotionally and physically.) Maria, comes from Mary or the Virgin mary. Plainly that. xD; Alexandra, from Queen Alexandra. ^^; I think it means purity. Well, that's about it. But I also have a nickname of "Kakay" And I have no idea why. @@ So it would be: Katrina Maria Alexandra "Kakay" "middle name" "last name" |
|
My real name is Cornelia. I think it origins from roman history, there was a tribe (?) called by that name. (Cornelians actually) I think the name is rather stupid ^^, Actually, everyone calls me Lina, which I like waaaaay better. ^^,
|
My name is Kelly, gaelic for warrior woman, irish for strength
I'm a fan of my name it suits me the best. I remember being younger, and friends of mine and I would make up fake names for each other when we went to the mall. None of them sounded right. It's all about the K-dawg |
my name is stephanie but my full name means crowned by god =0 So you figure it out xD
|
My real name is Stephanie. Nothing too special about it, but I'm named after my dad because he's name is Steven and Stephanie is supposed to be the feminine form of Stephen... which is pronounced the same as Steven. >>;
|
My real name is Christine. It means "follower of christ". My Dad named me Christine. He liked the name and before I was born my Mom went to see Phantom of the Opera and one of the main character's name is Christine. So when my Dad wanted to name me that she agreed because of that and because it was a Christian type name. :3 I like my name; it suits moi. ^^
|
What's your real name?
Jessica Lynne Evans. What does it mean, and what's it's significance (if any). Jessica= It is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "He sees". Coined by Shakespeare (from the Old Testament Iscah or Jesca) in "The Merchant of Venice" for Shylock's daughter, a young Jewish woman who elopes with Lorenzo and converts to Christianity. Why did your parents name you that? My Dad liked the name. My Mom gave me my middle name after my cousin; who died. Do you like your name? Not really. I usually go by Frisbee or Chibi. |
Cyndi as in Cyndi Lauper. It gets spelled wrong so often... T_T
It also sounds like - faster than anyone else in cantonese (chinese) My poor lil sister... she was named after Barbra Streisand... except my dad misspelled it. It's Barbara now... and we have a hard time pronouncing it ever since we found out he spelled it wrong (we've always called her Barbra) In chinese, it sounds like the tough and proud and best. I also have a chinese name, shu yang (approx.) it's snow + yang. So nickname is yiangyiang. like the panda, yea. |
