Had I been in Tohru's position would have chosen Kyo. Sure he's got a fast temper and says things that come out pretty harsh but he's really a sweet heart and means well. Like when he picks the leaks and makes soup for her while she's sick. Kyo may act as if he could care less but he's a guy with a big heart, and that's something completely lovable. Yuki is a sweetie as well but he's more a guy I'd want as a friend and to go to for advice.

I :heart: Kyo... even though I don't normally like the guys with orange hair, he's my favourite. I think it's because whenever he does something really sweet, like making her the soup, it makes more of an impact than when Yuki does something nice, because Yuki's always nice. |
i remember there was a scene... i think it was in the manga, not the anime, and shigure asks kyo if he is only nice to tohru hahahaha cause everyone knows that he likes her but he doesn't admit it to anyone

I think it's so funny when people start askign Kyo about Tohru and he'll never ever admit he likes her ^.^

i loved that part!!! they made it look just like i imagined it in the anime!
i really like how sometimes when they are humans the artist draws them with their respective zodiacs ears or eyes or things like that... so clever! |

Fully agreed with Roze, it is way more sincere and heart felt when Kyo does something because he's the more not so concerned guys, well unless it comes to Tohru. So when he does something for her it really does seem to mean a lot more than when Yuki does. Don't get my wrong I like Yuki too, he's a total sweetheart but it is really expected with him to do nice things, cause as you stated he does those kinds of things all the time.

I don't really like Yuki all that much... he's my least favourite character in the series although I don't really hate him.
The part when Kyo gave Tohru a paper flower was unbelievably sweet - another lovely Kyo/Tohru moment where Kyo is being nice :) |

hahaha yea... i love that part too... i say that a lot... but i can't help it... i just love it all! :P i really have to reread the series again... it's been awhile
and about kureno, it's hilarious that uo-chan thinks he's a lot like tohru and that's why she likes him :lol: but he kind of is... just not an exact replica... i mean, he doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings so he does what he is told *cough* akito *cough* even if he doesn't like it, but tohru doesn't do that... she may be all silly and bumbling and have no common sense lots of the time, but she doesn't do that |
I do love Kureno, it's kinda sweet to see a male version of Tohru :) I've just found out a use the word "sweet" too much when talking about Fruits Basket... ^^

Totally adorable moment with the flower, but then again most of the Tohru/Kyo moments are! They are quite innocent and new to it and they just go together so well. And let's face it Yuki has enough people liking him, Kyo and Tohru just need to be together lol.

Kyo/Tohru is one of my favourite couples ever. Mostly because Kyo acts so... nasty, really... to most people but only Tohru can bring out his sweet side... there's me using that word again lol

Same, I usually don't like guys that are like that, but I don't know I just really like Kyo. I also like some of the moments where he's letting his temper get the best of him and Tohru is just so calm and innocent.

I really like Kyo/Tohru also. I like that he tries to be a better person for her. I think my favorite pairing is Rin/Haru. They're both so cool!

Haru is kool lol, but also kind of annoying in some parts. Overall thought I am just going to have to stick with Kyo and Tohru.

i really like Ayame <3333333 he's the reason i followed this manga/anime.
i think he has lots of my personality traits, but i would never date his girlfriend. i like his 'sneakiness' when in snake form, lol as for tohru...i dont know, seriously :( she's not my type of character, so i cant tell what i'd do in her shoes :\ |
Kyo is my favorite, but I would love to see Yuki stick around, anyway. Actually, I'd like to see Kyo and Yuki get together...Anything else would not be as satisfying for me. I absolutely adore Tohru but... I don't see Kyo/Tohru as quite right. Does anyone else agree? Or does the idea strike you as crazy?
