Karaoke???
Does anyone around here go karaoking??
What kind of place do you go to? Do you like to sing? What do you sing?? Even if you don't like to sing, what would you sing if you could?? Tell me all your crazy stories about singing in public. |
i have one friend that me and her have been kicked out of stores at the mall simply off the fact we wall sing songs, like old school joints like monnie in the middle, salt and pepper's push it, Supersonic, stuff like that lol :D

OH I LOVE KARAOKE. 8)
I usually go to Chinese karaoke places, but the ones with the separate rooms. Not like karaoke bar style where anyone just goes up and sings. xD Yes I like to sing? xD I sing Cantonese/Mandarin and also those awesome oldschool English songs (Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears anyone?) xD |
I dread the karaoke place. T-T I don't like it at all. I have stage fright, scares me to sing in front of people. I've tried once. Couldn't. @[email protected] Plus you add the fact that I barely know any english songs and you have a recipe for trouble. >.< There are a lot of places you go to sing karaoke but I don't go. I like singing but not when everyone can hear me.

I've never gone to a karaoke before. My fiancé use to go to one of the bars here in town, that has karaoke every Thursday night I think it is. I don't think I could go though.. I'd be too embarrassed to sing, and too embarrassed to see him sing xD

x'D I haven't gone kareoke-ing before. My nieces wanted me to sing though, but I declined. >.> I haven't sang in a while. Where were they singing? Well, they had a kareoke machine. 8D
I love singing, actually. My sister is the more talented one-- she won a Best Talent award for a Little Miss Philippines Pagent. x'D She stopped taking lessons though, for no reason. So sad. She could've really gone somewhere with it. I was in a school choir in Junior High. I was an alto because I felt comfortable in that range. When the teacher started doing scales on the piano, we all had to try to find the limits of our voices, and it turns out that my range went up well beyond everyone else's, even the teacher's. x'D Everyone started wondering why I was in the alto section. ... Then he turned me into a first soprano. T_T I liked the altos range better, even though they were all lazy and stuff. I did a duet once in a competition with the choir singing chorus! We alternated places with other people, so there were different duet pairings at one time. We didn't win. xD; Hahaha. Nothing bad happened. So boring. |

I've been to a karaoke bar many times with my sister, but I only sang twice though.
It was really fun and a little scary too. :3 I've also been to a private karaoke bar in japan. It was just me, my friend and the hostess. X3 That was kinda fun. XP |

Does anyone around here like to karaoke? I used to go so often~ Not as often anymore though since everyone's been too busy lately ;___; What kind of place do you go to? I either go to a karaoke bar, karaoke restaurant, or karaoke studios XD; When I was living in Los Angeles, there were LOTS of Korean karaoke bars around my area *3* I didn't live too far away from Little Tokyo, too (actually, only less than 10 minutes drive). So, my friends and I used to go to this one karaoke place almost twice a month hehe. The last time I went to karaoke with friends were actually back in January. I've been meaning to go again, but everyone's too busy for now ;_; Hopefully, this weekend! Do you like to sing? Yes~ Not very well, but yes! XD; I used to "perform" at the Indonesian consulate in Canada about a year or so ago with the Indonesian youth band thing hahah... It was a really fun time~ I loved jamming, even though I can't sing nor play any of the instruments very well XD What do you sing? Hmm, when jamming, we just sang whatever songs that are playable and don't require "screaming" @[email protected];;; As much as I do listen to hardcore metal or punk rock sometimes, I can't sing those and I'd definitely hurt myself if I tried XD;;; I love choosing old English songs, too. In karaoke places, as long as I know the songs (whether it's Japanese, English, or Korean), I'd try to sing it~ ... Err... as long as it was my turn anyway XD; |
Does Karaoke Revolution count? XD I can't imagine singing in public unless I'm drunk, and then I think I would probably suck. o.O; I love to sing in my car though, and I don't mind my friends hearing me.. but yeah.. XD I'm not THAT good or anything. That's why I get a kick out of that game.

I went once, I wish I could go again. I'm a vocalist myself (like every other girl nowadays XP) But seriously, I'm a musician and I actually study the art, so it's fun for me because it's great vocal excersise. One time I did a Serina Paris song, in the voice (just with friends and an instrumental version, not the kind of song you'd find in a kareoke list) That was enjoyable. My friend and I (we were in gr. 7 at the time) fell in love with this one boy, our age, who sang a BSB song, and he was amazing. *sigh* And cute. XP

I've recently gotten into karaoke.
My friend and I all go to this Korean place where you rent a room - we bring lots of beer - drink and have fun. We sing all kinds of songs - mostly fun stuff that will get us dancing or singing all together. It's a blast! |
For the longest time I haven't been able to find any karaoke, but over the weekend my friends and I spotted a place when we were on our way to an anime store. It looks interesting. :o I will kill people, with my singing, though. >3
