I love to sing karaoke. Me and my girlfriend go to a karaoke bar every week if it's possible. I can't even tell what's my favourite song...there are many that I like. ^^
Singing is great anyway!!

I've never done karaoke, and have been in a karaoke bar only once. I don't even know if there are any places nearby to go to, but it wouldn't matter - if there are, I wouldn't go. It's not something I'd look to do for an entertaining night out for some reason. It sounds like some of you really enjoy it, though - going every week!! Wow. (of course, if I could carry a tune in a bucket I may rethink the karaoke thing, but I can't...)

I found that the fun part of karaoke is how much we all suck :lol: - but we also get a private room when we all go so it's not embarrassing - it's just fun with friends.

I've always wanted to do Karaoke, but I'm too shy. The closest I've come to that is when we have talent day in choir and I sing solo. ;_;

I go all the time, its so much fun... especially when you know the whole bar. I dont' personally sing at all, because I know how horrible I really sound, but a lot of my friends go singing and they're amazing.

Deffinately go for it, have fun and just dont' care

But I think I can sing well sometimes, depending on the song, so sometimes I wish I wasn't so shy... but... meh.

I love Karaoke. I rarely do it any more. I love to sing though, but I make sure no one's around.

I like singing more operatic songs or musicals. Like Nightwish or musicals like Wicked or South Pacific.

I didn't do it in Japan, the home of Karaoke. I actually didn't like the idea. Karaoke's very different there then here. Here it's just in front of a group of strangers in a bar to have fun and drink. In Japan it's much more serious business. There's giant buildings just for Karaoke!! Because people rent out rooms on the floors. They pay just to sing. Normally for a large group of friends, or businessmen. Some people it will only be one person that rents a room.

That seemed boring. I can sing by myself for free. :?

I've never really gone to a place to karaoke in front of people other than my friends. Most of my friends have their own sort of karaoke machines.

Singing is so much fun (just not in choir because my voice doesn't really fit in there).

Well at a choir concert once, I fell off the risers with a triangle in my hand ( the instrument) and the very handsome gymnyst in front of me caught me and helped me back up! (He's going to the olympics next year!!!!)

I like to sing. In the shower though and when the house is empty. xP I think I'm okay, some of my friends say I'm good though I have a high voice.

I haven't gone karaoke-ing. Though my friends have and I plan on going with her and a group of our friends. Though I do get stage fright, so thinking about it just makes me all freak. xP

Well stagefright is natural...but it isn't so bad to work through. You just gotta do it. Maybe do a duet with a gutsy friend?? That was how I started out.

Yeah, I was still going to go through with it. In elementary school I played clarinet and did recitals. I was scared of it, though after it I was okay. So I'm gonna do it if my friends do it with me. :D

I kinda like the adrenaline rush of being afraid to get up in front of people. I have been in like 20 plays and I still get stage fright...it works for you sometimes.

I am actually good friends with a guy whose dad is a Kareokee guy! So that's where I do mine, but I rarely do...

Nice my boyfriend is a KJ (Karaoke DJ) so it works out for me. He gets me free drinks and stuff for helping him load and unload his stuff.

Lol, what kind of range do you have?

I sing kind of low things myself...though I can get my voice up a little.

I have no idea. Though my friends have said that I sing pretty high, though I usually sing anything that comes on my iPod. xP

Lol, I am sure you will figure it out. People at karaoke places like upbeat stuff that they recognize if that helps you at all.
