i moved from austria to germany, but in austria we speak german too, so... i am just fluent in english. i was good at school when it came to english and i had a strict teacher. and i read a lot in english, plus i'm surfing english websites a lot XD (like this one.)

good night riddle XD

Thats awesome!
When i first got a computer back in the day (like 11 years ago) I had this CD rom that had all these lessons for different languages on it... I started doing all the dutch lessons, and I found it stupidly close to English... I can sometimes even puzzle out german. I think both of those languages would be kind of fun to learn, though i don't know exactly where I would start... that CD rom would help, but it is long long gone!

And I think glamorized nazis are mostly pecause they are sort of like the all american standard too, I guess.
Blond, blue eyes, tall, whateveryone wants to look like. =P

in germany, most naziesque actions are forbidden. you must not wear a swastika openly and things like that. but i think the forbidden-ness makes it even more attractive for neonazis. recently, there was a neonazi demonstration in a neighbouring city. i don't know why, but it's really scary.
well, but generally i have never had any problems with those people, so germany is not dangerous. and they really take so many precautions so that something like the 3rd reich can't happen again.
sometimes i think america might be a bit TOO open about things. but maybe that's just me. on the other hand i get the feeling that americans are often quite prude and conservative.
i don't want to be blonde XD

O god, the humpty dance song!
I think my mom thought I was doing it way before I was.
She always thought the worst.
Sad.
I've only ever had sex with my hubby though.
I'm proud of that in a simple way.

i think german is a very hard language to learn.
on the other hand, i have never learned a language that was as easy to obtain as english. i had french at school and i was a loser at it. latin was okay, but not that good... english, psychology and art were my best classes at school XD

Quite possibly.
Forbidding someone to do it is a huge factor in people wanting to do it.
Which is childish but true.
And america is america because we are open to everything and everyone, I guess.
It's only that certian towns have churches on every corner.
I was in a town like that once, they had so many hobos! D:
I wanted to be blonde once and it might have looked alright if it hadnt turned green. X]

It's sad because I was kind of good at it because it only seemed kind of backwards to me.
But I know that english is the backwards language. =/

yes, it's childish. very much so. but it really is that way. especially among teenagers.
are you really open to everything? ...my, i don't know, sometimes i think america is a cool country. at least the US are. i've been there once and it was really nice. but i suppose germany is all right too. at least there is nobody here who laughs about my strange accent XD
greeeeen? o___O how did it end up green?

America is odd because it is SO divided! It really IS blue states vs red states!!
Its so weird that a country can be so overtly sexual and violent (thinking TV and Movies here) and still so bible-thumping and god-fearing!

I'm canadian, but i find the same thing up here. The west coast is pretty liberal, and the east is liberal... but the praries and the eastern coast.... man, hicksville USA, but in CANADA!!! Its like these people are stuck in a time warp to 30 years ago!!!

i could teach you if you want. ^^ it can't be that hard to teach someone.

really, english is hard to learn? i found it so easy...but maybe that's because i started learning english when i was, like, eight... our school started early.

that could be it!
maybe the context I was told was different... it was for ASL... like japanese and chinese students learning english.
Really, I think Chinese would be hardest because there are soooo many different dialects involved!!

And soooo many languages have overlapping words derrived from latin words.

where in canada do you live?
...wow, it's cool to hear some first-hand experiences from people who live in the states/canada. i didn't REALLY get an impression when i was in new york and boston for 2 weeks.

greeeeen? o___O how did it end up green?

There are too many exchange students and vacationers to the states to make foriegners any kind of strange.
And I tried to make it blue after the blonde but it washed out green. D;
It was funny to see my mother's expression though.

[email protected] It's true i'm afraid.
I'm not sure how it works out this way but the bible thumpers are the ones who end up abusing their children who turn out to be the violent ones. =/
And ha, I used to live in Texas and it's so true.

Which is why I think I would have taken latin if my school had offered it but i've never known a school to actually use the money it's students raise to add a new program. =P
