I saw an advertisement in the newspaper about RPGs and suddenly I wanted to play those old school RPGs again... I got my legend of mana disc, popped in into my computer and played it on my emulator since the stupid playstation was acting bonkers... And wow... It really brings back old memories of non fancy-smancee 3D games that give me headaches... I wanna finish it since I never did last time...

Right now, I'm playing Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life (Special edition). I married Lumina in one file, just married Nami in the other. People are all like "Don't marry Nami! She does pretty much nothing on the farm and on the second year of marrying her she takes 2000 and goes to college so you have to take care of your kid for the whole year and give her 1000 every season!"
...Single parent you say...? >3 BRING IT AWN. In the third file I'll probably marry Ceilia- I'm getting tired of watering 20+ crops every day, and if it's not raining I'm pissed off at the chickens cause I never have enough birdfeed, which is why I don't keep the cows because they just piss me off too. At least I can leave my horse in the rain. >.> |
On my PS2 I'm playing Rogue Galaxy, a game my boyfriend lent to me. I like it a lot, though I've gotten different opinions about it. One perosn said it was an ok story, but nothing spectacular. Another person said the ending is stupid, and they didn't like the game play. Personally I would recommend it if you like button bashing, and the feel of Final Fantasy. I mean it's not on the same level, but the graphics are amazing, the story's not that bad, and I like button mashing. Some of the missions are hard, but not too difficult even for a gamer who fails at gaming, like myself. ^_^;; Ha ha.
I'm also playing the redone version of Final Fantasy 4 for the DS. The graphics are cute, story's good...I hate real time battle, but most people like it, so it shouldn't be a problem. They've got new features that the original game didn't really have, so yeah. I guess I'd recommend it too, but I just like the series in general, so my opinion may be a bit biased. LOL. But yeah. |
I'm forging through PSP Final Fantasy Tactics.
I've been meaning to get through Devil May Cry, too, but I suck. :~/ |
Finally I found a topic I absolutely LOVE!
I'm currently playing a couple games. For PC i'm on World of Warcraft. Before I purchased it I was always saying things like man that game sucks it's stupid so many people play it. But then once I bought it my entire view changed, I love the game, the community is great the game style is excellent the graphics are amazing.. its a great mmo for sure and soon.. the new expansion is coming out! Wrath of the Lich King. I'm so excited! However my love for gaming doesn't end there, I enjoy playing the Xbox360 as well. I mainly play Guitar Hero 3, Call of Duty 4, Halo 3 and Team Fortress 2. I like shoot em up games, and Guitar Hero is just and enjoyable time killer. If you're not into FPS [First person Shooters] I wouldn't suggest trying Halo, Call of Duty or Team Fortress. They are a bit advanced and not easy to get into if you're not good with aiming and firing. ;) Guitar Hero however is soooo fun, even if you aren't good at it. It's one of those games that you simply can't put down once you start playing it. |
Pokemon Blue. O-O
And Pi Story online. |
Right now I'm playing the MMO Atlantica Online in its open beta phase.
-Is the game any good? Or something you wouldn't suggest others trying? I love it. It's a very original MMO and I'd recommend it to anyone who's either looking for a new MMO or has never played any before. -Reasons why you choose to play that game? The graphics are lovely, the mobs are interesting, the world is laid out nicely, the controls are easy to learn. What I like most of all is that it's *turn-based*, lets you control 9 characters at a time, and party play actually has major benefits unlike most games. -Does it place in your favorites? Or in your okay games? Or in your never touch the game again? Definitely a favorite and will be used to measure other MMOs I play in the future~ |
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 3 ~Trials and Tribulations~
-Is the game any good? Or something you wouldn't suggest others trying? I love the entire Ace Attorney series for reasons that are very obvious to people who know me. SO I'd recommend it, of course, but keep in mind that my opinion may be biased. -Reasons why you choose to play that game? (Graphics looked good, storyline sounded awesome, someone told you about it, it's the popular game right now.) I like the storyline and characters, among other things, and I have a lot of friends who like it too. -Does it place in your favorites? Or in your okay games? Or in your never touch the game again? One of my favourites, easily. Soul Calibur 4 -Is the game any good? Or something you wouldn't suggest others trying? It's not what I call amazing, but I find it really fun, so if you like versus fighting games like that, yes, do play it. -Reasons why you choose to play that game? (Graphics looked good, storyline sounded awesome, someone told you about it, it's the popular game right now.) Graphics, popularity and totally my kind of game. -Does it place in your favorites? Or in your okay games? Or in your never touch the game again? It's okay. Especially good to play with friends. Dynasty Warriors 6 -Is the game any good? Or something you wouldn't suggest others trying? I don't like some of the changes made, but I still enjoy it. They downsized the array of playable characters and changed the designs and movesets for some. Some of them got better, some worse. I like the new features like the skill tree and the incorporation of the objectives system from Xtreme Legends, but I'm upset they eliminated the bow and arrow function. All in all, it's still among my favourite hack and slash games. -Reasons why you choose to play that game? (Graphics looked good, storyline sounded awesome, someone told you about it, it's the popular game right now.) It's...well, I like the entire Musou series, and it's just a whole lot of mindless fun. Plus, it's a 2-player game and I always play it with friends. -Does it place in your favorites? Or in your okay games? Or in your never touch the game again? Definitely one of my favourites, especially if I'm playing with a certain someone (you so know who you are, my favourite Musou nerd). Devil May Cry 4 -Is the game any good? Or something you wouldn't suggest others trying? OMG, I love this game. Everything I hated in the third game they fixed in the fourth. I don't mind Nero, as opposed to what I construe to be popular opinion; his moveset is decent, really, although of course I still like Dante better. I'm probably not the only one who thinks the Pandora's Box is made of awesome either. -Reasons why you choose to play that game? (Graphics looked good, storyline sounded awesome, someone told you about it, it's the popular game right now.) I loved the storyline and graphics. It was a cool game with cool characters, although I know reading about Dante makes me homicidal. He's cool to watch, but really annoying to read about. And the gameplay is amazing. -Does it place in your favorites? Or in your okay games? Or in your never touch the game again? Definitely. I love it. Games I've recently played that I absolutely love: CastleVania (Lament of Innocence, Harmony of Dissonance, Curse of Darkness and Dawn of Sorrow), .hack//GU, Persona 3, Digital Devil Saga, the rest of the Ace Attorney series, Sengoku Basara series. I think that's all I remember right now. Games I really want to play right now: Final Fantasy Dissidia and Crisis Core, Assassin's Creed, Folklore, Persona 4, the rest of the CastleVania series, Sims 3, Guild Wars 2, Oblivion: Elder Scrolls. |
I'll be playing Harry Potter- Escape From Azkaban at some point this week. I haven't actually started yet. o.o So instead, I'll say Sly Cooper 2

My japanese coach.
Egh, I did pretty bad in the first evaluation quiz. Time to review my numbers...again...I also am trying to get all the reports for The World Ends With You. I'd play more games, but all my bigger systems are back home, so not much one-player gaming for me. As for mmos, I switch between audition (I love making my guy wear short shorts in that game, people get so upset that it's funny. But I don't do anything harmful, so no worries), lunia (Yay, it strays away from point-and-click!), s4 league (I'm a complete newb when it comes to shooters, but S4 is fairly easy to pick up compared to other shooters), and requiem:bloodymare (I usually hate point-and-click fantasy, as well as "dark"-themed games, but the character creation in this one is interesting) I'm still getting used to these games again since I haven't picked them up in a while, so if by some chance you have me on your team, expect to lose for now. |
Right now I'm working onJumper Griffen's Story,Eternal Sonata,Phantasy Star Universe,Dead Or Alive Xtreme 2.
|
Fable 2.
Yes. Fable 2 certainly does the first one justice, and exceeds in parts where the first one sucked. My favorite parts: Defense is based on your character and style of play, not armor. So if you want, you can blast through the game just for the story. Additionally, all clothes can be dyed different colors, so no matter how your character looks according to your tastes, you're not penalized for it. Gold isn't earned from the main quest. You do side jobs, so again, you can blast through, or mess around for fun. |
chrono cross for playstation
yeah i'm still kinda old school on the forfront of gaming lol oh well whatever works also still playing snoic on a sega genesis lol crazily enough it still works |
Currently playing through Persona 3.
-Is the game any good? Or something you wouldn't suggest others trying? I haven't played a game on the PS2 for a long time because mine was stolen but as soon as I saved up enough money to buy one, Persona 3 had to be the first game I bought for it. I first watched my friend play through it when I was over at her place one day and just fell in love with the story and characters. -Reasons why you choose to play that game? (Graphics looked good, storyline sounded awesome, someone told you about it, it's the popular game right now.) The story, characters, and music drew me in. -Does it place in your favorites? Or in your okay games? Or in your never touch the game again? It definitely holds a place in my favorites. It's the kind of game storyline that stays with you and I think it is definitely replayable. |
