Pc Games,, (Addictive)
Okie,,
So right now, I really wanna play Sims,, What is it that makes games like this so addictive? But, Yeah, Sorry this thread is pretty badly made,, So,, What games are you addictive to? |
I've been addicted to so many PC games. The Sims, Age of Empires II, Command and Conquer, children's games, this one game about airplanes that resulted in me having encyclopedic knowledge of air travel. :P Ooh, can't forget Roller Coaster Tycoon. If only my lappy were better equipt, I'd play these games more often. *sigh*

I think what makes them so addictive is the sense if achievement and ongoing goals. Once you reach them you get a sense of satisfaction but then you must continue on to the next one, and the next one! |
I was addicted to Wow for awhile but, my boyfriend couldn't continue to pay for the account. So, I have to wait until he gets enough money to start playing it again...

My biggest PC addiction for the time being is Guild Wars, though I've been bad and have neglected it for a while. But how can I not? I have God of War 2 to play! I do also love KOTOR, though. And Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. Sims 2 is also a delight, but one I can only take in small amounts. |
We just got Super Paper Mario for the Wii, so I'm addicted to that.
Computer-wise? City of Heros/Villians and The Sims. Ohh baby, yeah. For the past 6 months I have purchased a new game every two weeks, as that's how long it takes me to beat games/get bored. Bad news bears. |

Are you talking about the sims 2? Coz that is so addictive... I'm scared to play it because then I won't be able to stop XD I haven't played it in sooo long... Don't tempt me! Oh and as for what make it addictive... we looove choices and the sims is full of choices, scandals and what I like to call false happiness XD We can live out our own lives as we dream of them to be. |

I've been addicted to Sim City, Sim Tower, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Age of Empires, Tumblebugs, Diner Dash and many more probably that I can't remember... I don't really have time for games anymore so that's why I don't play them anymore. Also I use a mac now and they don't make as many games for mac. XP

Ooh I remember being addicted to... -age of empires II -age of mythology... for like 1 hour in the store on the diplayed games computer XD -harry potter II... ok I got over that in the same day... There's something else but I can't remember wat it's called... And it's like age of empires but you start at basically cavemen and go right into the future of atomic bombs and killer robots XD Somthing war... Oh well XD |

I am completely addicted to Sims 2. Well, really, I'm addicted to downloading custom content for it. lol I spend so much time downloading and sorting downloads, I hardly get to play any more. But, yeah, I love Sims 2...Season is a great EP. I have been addicted to Kingdom Hearts, Zeus/Posideon, Heros of Might & Magic, Zoo Tycoon, and various FF games.

I'm quite into PC strategy games, I'm currently buried in Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI, but I was a big fam of Empires series before that.
Sims are so incredible addictive too, I love making cities and destroying them :twisted: and then building them up again XD |
The Sims! It's one of the most addictive games I have ever played. I never get tied of making a family and building a house from scratch and designing it with furniture and stuff. I could play this game for three days straight and not get tired of it. ♫ xD
Next Zoo Tycoon two, I love using the codes that'll let me make unicorns, a pity there's no code to make dragons thou. But I am content with the Comodo Dragons. I would love it more if it had them. But right now thou I am addicted to Command and Conquer three: Tribium Wars. (I am not sure if I spell Tribium correctly.) It much fun destroying an enemy's base with a wasteful horde of tanks and/or a fleet of fighter planes. (Seriously I made so much of them that some of the tanks end up just sitting there not being used at all.) But some times I prefect my defenses and leave the computer to eat while the War factor makes me more tanks. Anyway, I am currently I am still finish up the GDI campaign after that I do NOD. |
Sims by far is the most addictive game! I would sit at the computer for hours playing that, heh.
I've been addicted to some japanese games, even though I can't read what it says I'd still be addicted. That would be the Princess Maker series mainly. Tycoon series are addicting as well. |

Beyond words. I live and breathe spyro the Dragon. It's incredible. I'm listening to it's sound track right now.. x.X I also am addicted to Ape escape Million Monkeys. That feeling of acheivement after catching a Monkey gives me a video game rush... It's like a DRUG. |

Ohmigosh, I'm so addicted to The Sims 2!
And the site Mod The Sims 2! I love downloading all their items! xD I spend a lot of time downloading their stuff, but I actually spend most of my time building a house, and furnishing it! It takes me a while until I get to play with my Sims! xD haha Oh, and when I do play with them, I can't help but use cheats! And now that I know what the cheats are, I can't stop! Q_Q But my favorite game that I am hooked on, addicted to most of all, is URU: Ages Beyond Myst. That game is so freaking fun and it's not AS addicting as The Sims 2, but for me, it's actually the most addicting, because it's fun, AND you have to think. I <3 thinking games! ^^ hahaha *grin* |
I'm addicted to Dance Dance Revolution, Magna Carta: The Phantom of Avalanche, and the .hack//GU games right now.
Oooh, and Tales of the World, because I can take my PSP just about anywhere with me. It's a lot of fun playing that game, though I haven't gotten very far because I'm too busy leveling up and goofing around in it. |
