i get flamed a lot too, but i've learned to live with it and most of the time not care... which is kinda bad cuz sometimes people are being stupid, but other times it's people that care and just wanted to give me some critique... ^^;

@xuvrette: I think it's the same as what happened at Gaia. Conversations dwindled down to "bumpbumpbumpbumpbump." So...useful comments over at deviantART became, "Cool."

Well they DID have alot of critism before. Especially my dad does. There's always something he has to say about my art. I actually don't like it, but he means it in a good way. @Tori; It depends on what style you're looking for xD Unfortunately I also have a shop on Gaia and it became huuuge... so I'll probably need to finish a few commissions there first before I can sell the big arts here. Right now I'm only doing headshots. Wow, I think that's really beautiful. You have a very elegant style, I like that :3 Don't worry about the coloring. I'm still horrible too, so I'm still practising and trying out new styles. I mean, I've made a headshot lately in a style I though I never could do. But I guess I could. I just never tried x3 You should try it too! |

Secret Santa ~ Well, you notice that the white is too bright. If it is not the style, then I would suggest shading them. give a few strokes of different grey to create texture and 3D. Maybe you meant the fluffy are under the skirt instead of like a lace along the skirt, so if it is that case, then it is fine. If you meant it to be like a lace to them hem of the skirt, then I would suggest layer the fluffy on top of the skirt. I am not sure what perspective you are mentioning. Do you mean perspective of picture looking down or up? The background look nice, if the white swirl are wind, then I don't think it looks natural to me. The way it curves is like forming a tornado... XD but it could happen in real life, I have impression of those swirl to be in snowstorm which no people should be out at that time. SO I am expecting a fairly curve swirl. If you add more glow or shinyness for the swirl, or snowflakes/snow following the swirl, then I could think of it as like a magic dust, which show the sudden appearance of the girl. PS : maybe you might not notice, but the fluffy of the skirt and the fluffy bracelet on the hand holding the bag is clashing. There should be some grey as shadow on the bracelet. Or if I got the MAIN light source correct, then the whole arm holding the bag would be around 10% darker. For a ASAP attitude, I would say, overall it looks awesome! O_O Sylira's Kiseki ~ I am not sure why do you say the colouring is bad. Well, there are WORSE colouring I had seen, mostly children's and amateur's scribbles. I notice the hair that falls on the black shirt, the end of the hair doesn't look like your style applied on teh hair that falls on the face. The hair of the face matches your overall colouring. but the hair falls on the black shirt just seem like hard chopped off trimming. and the hand that put in trousers, should be a bit more wrinkle... unless the trouser have really really wide pocket. Which I notice isn't...XD ....Are youo crying now? *hugs* |
