Chasing after wisps of half memories and secrets... the past hovers like a dream at your fingertips. Running and running after a truth just out of reach - Because sometimes all we want is another chance... Once upon a time there was a unicorn elf, with hair as pale and silverish as the moon and eyes bright with the sparkle of curiousity.
His name was Arian and he was part of the Anárioni clan - a race of moon unicorn-elves who tended the mysterious star-flowers which bloomed in the edges of their land. But the clan was wary of outsiders and hid themselves away from the outside world, hidden from unknowing eyes - just like the flowers they tended. "The outside is dangerous" the elders whispered, huddled as they were in their buildings of gleaming stone. "Nothing good can come from there, better to stay where it's familiar.. Where it's safe..." And to facilitate this they made a rule - a rule that stated that none could leave clan lands without consent. They said it was for the protection of all, but unspoken was a hidden threat - for to those who broke the rule could never again return to the hidden lands. And for a while none would break the elders law - the clan provided and thus grew, and if it did not flourish, it did not die either. But Arian was different and gazed out upon the borders of the village with a restless eye. What was so dangerous that they had to stay in the village? What lay beyond the the starflower groves? These questions and more flickered through the young unicorn-elf's mind, until one day he could stand it no longer and with bag packed and bright eyes, he crossed the boundry between village and outside. And although leaving meant exile from all that was familiar, the croon of the unknown proved a temptation to strong to resist. So the unicorn-elf travelled and as he travelled he learnt and throughout it all his eyes stayed bright - bright emeralds glimmering with the light of curiousity unbridled and knowledge yet to be discovered.
