Thanks ^_^ I work with my Mother, and she just went out and picked up lunch. Meatball subs from Papa Ginos yeay but very messy. Luckily I had my sweater or I wold have got sause on my nice blue shirt.

She's an accountant/consultant I'm a securatary, basicaly but I do some data entry and right now i'm making a powerpoint presentation for a training class on security features on a softwear package we service. The girl before me got a new job and told them that she was stating at the new place in a week... So my mom called me, I came in for an interview and have been here since.
It's prety nice, because i work full time I get vacation and sick time, and now that i have been here over 3 months I qualify for the company insurances. Plus in january I set up a 401k, that's when you put money away for retirement. You cna only sign up at certian times of the year, and the next open enrollment is in January so i'm excited about that. I know i'm only 23, but i'm going to be getting married in a few years, then starting a family... so it's never too soon to start putting money away. |
Wow, you are so lucky. If you enjoy that type of work (I'm assuming you do), I'm sure you are going to have tons of fun. And it's great how lucky you are. To get a stable job already and start putting away money, I'm sure you shouldn't have too much trouble starting a family. I personally think thats a great age to get married at. And then the starting a family is up to the couple. I know of one couple who started right away (She announced she was pregnant like right after their honeymoon.) and another who waited many years. I can't wait until I can start actual work instead of all of this college work. But, gotta get this stuff first, so I might as well enjoy it. Ha ha ha ha!

we are getting married in June 2009. I'll be graduating from college in May of '09 (hopefully, but one never knows) so that's why we are waiting that long. But if any little unexpected acedents occur we have decided that we will get married sooner because of it.. but let's hope it dose not come to that. I'm not ready to be a mommy yet. lol when i'm 25 i'll be a little more secure (i hope)
my fieance is also younger than i am, he jsut turned 21 so it's a little diffrent for him. he's still getting used to not being a kid any more. We've been together for a long time, and engaged for almost 7 months (next week is our 7month anivirsiary of being engaged yeay). We also moved in together in September so we are very serious. The best part, i'd say, about the move was that i was able to adopt a kitten. My mom used to have a cat, but it passed away and my dad didn't want another one. So when my fieance said that we could get one i was so happy. She's not really a kitten, she's about 2 1/2 - 3 years old, but that's still very young for a cat. |
