You have a good point on that.

Thing is, that somwhat bothers me, I've been a part of another site like this, that went down the tubes after not so long. I wanna make sure that doesn't happen here before I put money into it.

Kat - Ooh? That's pretty cheap. Is it possible to still get them that low?

What country are you from? O.<

Menewsha was founded in January 2007, and in less that 5 months has grown to over 4,000 members.
I've been able to find someone here at any time that I've come on.
It appears to be a very viable community.
I'm pretty sure they will be increasing in value as soon as they are no longer available by donation.
The crowns inflated very fast.

Aliena 04-26-2007 07:37 PM

Hero - I'd think a place like this would have a better chance of surviving with donations, but I understand exactly what you mean. The funny thing is, I've never donated to Gaia and have spent much time there. It wasn't going anywhere, but I never really felt compelled to donate. I'm not sure why this place is different for me. But I do hope that this will stick around for the long run!

All of which helps me not since I'm broke xD> Nice to know it is growing fast though. Gives me hope it won't end up like a few other sites I know of.

If you like next months item, a certain friend may just buy you an item.
It could be a um...Happy Almost Summer gift. <33

The reason most people probably don't feel compelled to donate to Gaia is the certaintity that of it's couple million plus members are gonna blow off 20, 30 bucks a month + there, so the site's in no real danger of closing down if you don't donate yourself.

With here .. I can understand the allure that you're, and probably most of the other people on here who do donate, feeling. It's nice, it's small, no drama, no spamfests everywhere.

Kat - Oh no you don't. Pixels = one thing. No spending real money on moi.

Annie - Tu hablas espanol? :o

Trinity - you're in Argentina? I'd love to go there someday. It looks like it's a really beautiful country. There are a lot of countries in South America I'd love to see.
