I usually like to use my same screen name in different sites so I don't forget and have to try to remember it again..also so maybe some people will recognize my name from another site to this site and stuff..

Personally, it's for convenience purposes. And of course, so it makes it easier for me and others to remember.
Won't it be troublesome when you tell a friend or someone that you're XXX on this site, YYY in another, ZZZ here, AAA there... you get the point. XD Additionally, it's also much easier for other people to address you around. Since my Gaia and Zantarni usernames were different, I had people actually asking me what I should be called. XD I code my usernames according to what SORT of site I am registering to. And of course, the mules. ^^ |

Not really. It is spawned of sheer laziness. I don't want to think up another crazy name, AND have to remember it...plus CinnamonMiko has a nice ring and is somewhat recognized around some other alleys of the 'net. It's entertaining to sprout up somewhere and encounter an old friend....or mortal enemy, sometimes. >_> <_< cuz you know, I just have oh so many of those lying about. >_> I try to keep my passwords diverse, but ultimately I have six alpha-numeric that I use interchangeably. |

Mine on here is my real name. 8D On LiveJournal it's ganbarexhime, and Gaia's is The Squishy Penguin. I actually mainly use Kurara Eienyuki. ;P But for stuff I'll use on a daily base, I'll choose random, catchy names. |
I use different ones everywhere and sometimes it gets confusing, but I do it so that others don't know me unless I want them to. I generally always have names that begin with 'A' though.
As for the password I have two different pass' that I use. |

Anyway, it is mostly for convenience sake. Like remembering passwords, usernames and such. Being a rather forgetful person, it is good that I have the usual set of usernames to use around so I don't confuse myself with too many of them. It is also easier for others to find you (this may be a good thing or not, depending on the individual). And it also makes it easier for them to address you. I had one person once asking me what I would like to be called because I had different names on those particular sites. My most common ones are Xaevan and Meinarch, though. Ironic_Depressions is honestly a sub account. lol |
I use my name everywhere because its easy to remember and i want people to recognize so that i know people from other sites that goes on here too. But sometimes i'm tired of using the same one so i decide to make up another. Usually a japanese name.

Psh. I use Alexandrus Gambino EVERYWHERE (to the point of signing up just to take the name ^^;;). Only because, Alex is not JUST Alex. Alex is me as well.

I have a different username on every site xD I have Aries The Aries Mini Laday Goddess Cherie Ooh but I have Aries again on roli =] Mene was the first site I could steal it on coz it wasn't taken =D |

I just like the way it sounds. Is it because we want everyone to recognize us everywhere? Yes, and it works out pretty well for me. Is it because we dont want to make a mess? -nods- One word, neat and tidy. do you use your same password as well? On some avatar sites, yes. Not on more sensitive accounts though. do you want people to remember you because you love your screen name? I am attached to my screen name as well. It was my first screen name in 1999. I <3 it and NO I do not use the same password everywhere. That would be silly! Sometimed I forge which password goes to which account. |
I like it when people can go "Mashi? I know someone named Mashi on _____! Is that you?" Or stuff like that. It makes me laugh. (: |
Most of the time I use the same screen name everywhere with the exception of a few sites. There are only I think two sites that I use a mule account on. I don't even think I have a mule on Gaia to be honest.
Using the same screen name is easier for me in a lot of ways and when you make friends online and go to another site it is nice to be recognized by them. I don't think I act any differently whether I am using one screen name or the other and I don't try to pretend to be someone different. I'm just me. |
Because people know me as my screen name. And people look me up on other sites. That's why.

with me, its just easier to remember!! also, everyone seems to know me as enniel, so if i can have it every site i have the same friends in, it makes it easier for everyone :P
