Thanks for the good luck everyone. OK here I go with day 1. My first way in this morning was 231lb. *yikes!!* Today I'm eating meat and raw green vegetables. I'll do that tomorrow and wednesday too. After that I'll eat 2 serving of protein, 4 servings of vegetables, 2 servings of fruit, 2 servings of starch, 4 oz of skim milk, and 1 fat per day. Plus 10-12 8 oz glasses of water. I just hope I can stick with everything. No more sweets or fried food!! xD |

So sorry I haven't been peeking in to check everyones progress the last couple days, I have been super duper busy! As some of you know, it was my best friends 23rd birthday bash on Saturday night, so I was basically out of commission for saturday and yesterday. However, we all looked hot, and had fun annnnd.... I met a rather cute boy who likes me kinda lots and well, I like him kinda lots so I'm like... really excited to see where that goes. he's pretty cuuuute....... lol. Anyways, the last 3 days I have done really well on my diet (despite all the drinking I did on Saturday) Today is my official weigh in day with my sister, unfortunatley I ended up getting my period today (sorry to any boys in the thread) and I am mega bloated, so I'm putting off the weighing for a day or two so I don't get discouraged. Also, I don't work until 5 today, and its nice and sunny out, and I should go out for some excersize... only... I have the worst cramps ever, so I'm just gonna take it easy for a bit haha. Anyways, I'm super stoked for everyone who's doing good and staying on track! Eroy, I'm so proud of you for getting this started! yaay! Group high 5's!!! |
I slipped a little today... :oops: I had a BLT from Sonic. It was greasy but I'm hoping it won't be THAT bad since it did have some veggies on it... I'm just going to eat a small, healthy dinner too, because of that.
Also, I hope to exercise for a while tonight too, which should counteract it. xD |

As for me, I'm starving but I have like zero food in the house, and I know that as soon as I get to work I'm gonna want some food and like... i'm sooo sick of subway. but i know I have to eat at some point today. *sigh* I just dont feeeeeeel like it. stupid body. |
Does your Subway have wraps, salads, and pizza in addition to sandwiches? Mine has those 3 now... they're new, and I just had a little bit of one of the salads to tide me over until my tillapia is ready. A good alternative to sandwiches! :D I want to try the pizza, too...

I've had Subway pizza too. It's the best pizza I've ever had, but just because it's at Subway doesn't mean it's healthy.

well my weight hasn't changed, it's still sat at 145lb, which is good because i've sat and done nothing for the last 10 days, not eaten a great deal though as i've been ill so that's balanced the inactivity out. Got to go and buy some food tomorrow though, the cupboards are bare! |

I hope you get to feeling better. I'm about to start mine too.. ugg.. not looking forward to that. Anyway here's my diet update: I'm having Carb withdrawal symptoms D: Last night I had a major headache and I still had it this morning. I took some aleve and drank some coffee and am feeling much better. I've still got 2 more days with no carbs.. I think this will be the hardest part of my diet. But I'm doing well. According to the scale I lost 3&1/2 pound just in one day! I know it doesn't sound healthy.. but it'll work it self out. This prep. thing is just to kick my ass in gear for the real diet *nods* |

I will say though, that the more weight you have to lose, the more weight you drop initially as your body adjusts to the changes you're making. My first week (it's been like... 3 or something, and my first week was stellar) I lost 6.5lbs. Then I lost control and gained 3 back, and now I've lost 2 again. SO I'm now just 1lb over where my initial weightloss was at, and hopefully by next monday I can drop that pound as well as hopefully another. I would LOVE to be into my 130's by monday.... even if it's 139.5.... at least I'd be out of the 140's that have haunted me for the last 2 years!!! Anyways, I'm almost there and it's pretty exciting. For most people, the first week of dieting is the hardest. For ME, that wasn't the case. My first week I was motivated as anything and I did sooo good every single day! It was the following 2 weeks where my motivation wained and I screwed up. However, by some odd chance, I'm back in gear and ready to give'er..... crazy what something awesome happening in your personal life can do to your moods, huh? lol. Anyways, good luck resisting the carbs today, eroy!! You can do it hunnnny!!!! |

Ya I did weight watchers a few years ago and the first week of the diet I lost 6+ pounds.. I never had a week like that again after that. Haha. It's just how it goes I suppose. You can do it!!! You don't have that much to loose. You just have to remain extra dedicated *nods* I'm sure you'll drop it. Carb craving aren't so bad yet today. The weird thing is.. I can eat unlimited protein today.. but I eat and eat and eat and still feel hungry. It's the weirdest thing! I'm supposed to eat a lot this first 3 days though. It's a little weird to be loosing weight while stuffing your face full of fatty meat and raw veggies. But it works!! :shock: |

Right now I'm drinking coffee and eating instant oatmeal... i'm kinda sick of instant oatmeal, but it IS good fuel to start the day. I know I can do it too, I just have to resist pizza at work..... it smells so good though------ NO. no pizza haha. |

*rolls in* Well my progress has gotten back on track with my eating habits but I still haven't gotten back on the exercise bandwagon again yet. Also I'm avoiding my scale since I know that I've put on a few pounds and I don't want to depress myself. Hopefully I'll have a better update in a few days when I feel more like my usual healthy self. Every just go on a complete junk-food binge and can't seem to get yourself away from it? That was how my last month was. All month I was craving the most unhealthy things all the time. It was pretty annoying too. |
