Lucia smiled, and then cracked her fingers by lacing them and pressing them outwards...popping the rest of her arm and shoulder as well.
"So, what do I do first?" She asked, curious.

She sat as directed and let her hands flop over her knees.
"Like this?" Rhetorical, she knew, but she was skeptical...and in a hurry to disprove she had any type of ability.

"Hmm...shouldn't be too hard..." She let her eyes slide closed and she purged her thoughts...well...she tried.
I'm not going to be of any help..what am I doing here...Why am I here? She squinted her face in concentration but in the end she couldn't stop her thoughts. She let out a frustrated growl and then set her gaze.
"I don't suppose it could hurt if I talked...would it?" She asked.
"I...used to do this exercise..not so much once I was in Shin-Ra..but up in the hills around the Orphanage....it was something like this...at least in concept."

Lucia chuckled and nodded, closing her eyes to try again. She began low and soft, trying to remember the words.
"On ma ni
Hatsu mei un...
On ma ni..."
Her mind drifted away..she was still breathing, but she foucused on the darkness around her and slowly all thought processes ceased, until she was only repeating sounds and not words.

Finally she stopped altogether, seeing only the black of her eyelids and the occasional flash of light that didn't even make her blink...it felt as though she was on the verge of sleep and yet her body was nearly tense, ready to react.

Lucia cracked an eye and looked at red, her pupil missing entirely.
"Now what?" She asked, her voice quieter than normal.

Lucia shrugged and closed her eye again...this time..she tried focusing..on a particular thing...like Red had said...something she wanted.
"I...can see the canyon....it's the place right where we left...where Ash opened that door...the rock's still there...and..." She tilted her head to one side as if she heard something.
"Two...no...three motorcycles....their racing along the ridge." In her mind she turned to look up and saw that it was Rude and the others...Elena lead them as they went on, turning back for Shin-Ra.
"They're going back..." She said slightly dismayed.
"Wait...I'm right here....can't you...can't you.....don't go.." Her voice trailed off into silence as she realized she wasn't material...only an ghost in their world.

Lucia opened her eyes and looked down at the floor.
"What...what did I just do...I could feel everything..like I was there...but I wasn't...they didn't even see me..."

"Yeah...." She said looking at her hands.
"But what did I do good...that's the question.." She shivered and rubbed her hands up and down her arms, trying to warm them.

"Sight huh?" She looked at her palms, and flexed them.
"Well...it was interesting to say the least..." She turned to Red her face grim.
"Did you find out what you needed to know? Am I a threat?"

"...So this....this 'thing' that I have...it can't hurt anyone?" She breathed a sigh of relief and clenched her hands.
"Good...." She turned her head to the door and stared at it for a while...her eyes still half closed.
"So now what...now that I know I have this...what am I to do with it? So far I've only been using it to make sure that Sempai and Rude were alright...but what good it it now?"

"Uh...thanks, but I think I'll pass...I need to take some time and think.." She stood and then, holding her head, made her way outside. She sat down on her bike and lay her head on her forearms that she'd crossed over the dash.
Well...here I am...but what do I do...what is this 'power' going to do that I can't with my own skills... She sighed and buried her face in the welcoming darkness that her arms formed about her face.
"What am I?" She muttered..wondering if she was going to get an answer.
