Oh dear. XD I heard judging took forever in earlier rounds, but that's pretty ridiculous. We were going at a pretty good rate until this last round, so I'm rather glad about that.

I think it would be fun to enter as a judge, but I think my avatar preferences aren't quite the same as other people. XD I'd probably be the judge everyone hates, lol.

I like working with themes. :) I think I generally make thematic avatars in some sense (at least those are the only ones that are memorable to me) but I find it easier when I'm given a challenge and know what it's supposed to look like. Although it can be hard when we don't have enough items to work with the theme.

I think my taste for avatars is more similar to CK, rather than someone like Ese. I try to cater to what the judges might want, while still keeping my own style. (Like choosing a more traditional Mrs. White rather than my own interpretation, which I like tons more. XD)

I think you'd be a good judge. :D Your avatars are very interesting.

And no worries, I'm a terrible student myself since I have several things due tomorrow but I likely won't start them until this evening. :sweat: I only do it because I know I can get away with it. I'm sick of this class, but luckily tomorrow is my last class day (although I have a few extra things due Monday).

You're lucky then that you can work so well with themes! :> I'm generally more a color-coordinated type of person rather than a themed one, but lately I've been trying to strike a balance between the two. ^^;; Such as this current one, which I want to somehow depict the adjective "cunning" subtilely. xDD;; Dunno if it worked though, since the only things I have on that gear towards that are the ears, glasses, eyebrows, and cane. >.>;; Ah wells though. ^^;;

Well I don't usually go into an avatar with a theme in mind, but when I start to develop it, I try put pick and choose items that work with the flow and ignore items that might match, but otherwise feel out of place. For this one I kind of just kept piling things on since I wanted to use the new dresses. XD

I think I might apply. :3 I'm not sure if I'll have a lot of time, but it's still worth a shot.

LOL. My teachers do sometimes have throw-away joke answers, but usually not too many of them.

I'm a really bad student depending on the class. >__>; I figure out how much effort is required to get an A and just do that, not much else. It helps me balance my course load to manage my time that way, but I do think I lose out in learning since that often means I won't read very much of my assigned reading since I know I can get away with it.

I didn't buy much of those dresses, sadly, now that I think about it. :<
I only have two or three of the Calliope dresses, a few of the Athena ones, around two or three Octavia dresses, and all (lulz) of the Isis dresses. xDD;;
Then again, I'm more of a layering sort of person, so I can understand why I didn't buy too many dresses, as dresses are not friendly for my layering tendencies. 8DD;;

It's the result of altering Super Smash Bros. Brawl gameplay so that Pikachu has Ganondorf's moveset, which makes him look like a man. Like so:

Like, I know your style, Seiki's style, Ese's style, Cherry's style, slow's style and everyone else's style (too lazy to name everyone xDD) in the AC, but I can't pinpoint my own style. xDD;;

Lol, well what's my style then? I'm trying to pin it down. I purposefully used different skins, eyes, mouths, and items for all of my Project Mene entries. They do look like I made them, but I'm not sure what the connecting factor is.

I really can't pinpoint styles for other people unless they are very distinguished (generally the clutter monsters or people who always use certain colors, hairs, etc.)

Yours is an eclectic sort of matchy-matchy for me. :3 Theme is a little more predominant than color matching for you, and you're not very layer-tastic, if you know what I mean. xDD;; You're not afraid to go use a different shade of a color, even if it's a "wrong" shade (for those who're color-picky), since overall feel is more important for you. :> You're also not afraid of using "weird" items (like the fox hat, for example), probably because you're not as adamant on color-matching, as mentioned earlier. ^^;;

Naw, I think that's a pretty good grasp of it. XD I'm trying to shake the matchy-matchy bit though. I really really like avatars that flow well without any (or very little) color matching to them, so that's what I hope to work on after Project Mene.

It just doesn't appeal to the AC judges, so I'm not willing to risk it. That and I don't have a lot of commons in a variety of colors, so it's hard for me to avoid matching. XD;
