Anime sountracks: Listening to? And Fav?
I am currently listening to Karin/Chibi Vampire's Opening theme song.
My favorite thou is Gensoumaden Saiyuki's final ending theme song: "Open up your mind" Want about you? What Anime Soundtrack are you listening to? Wnat your favorite Anime Soundtrack? |
Don't have any anime soundtracks running right now (right now I'm listening to Hot Fuzz's soundtrack).
As for favorites, I think I have to say I like the Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust soundtrack. If not that, then I say the Revolutionary Girl Utena soundtrack. |
I think dothack had some really nice music, I really enjoy listening to stuff from anime, I'm all nerdy like that.

I love all of .hack's and Saiyuki's. :] I'm currently listening to the Avenger theme, "Mirai no Eve".

I would have to say that my favorite anime soundtrack of all time (really my absolute favorite soundtrack period) is the Revolutionary Girl Utena soundtrack (the first one, with the opening screencap on the cover). My second favorite would be the first soundtrack to Samurai Champloo. Up there with those two go all of the Miyazaki movie soundtracks (you can get them in a bundle pack)--Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, basically anything that has music by Joe Hisaishi. ^_^ I also like the .//hack soundtrack, as well, but not as much. Then there are the Ghost in the Shell sountracks (both for the movie and SAC). I know there are more, but I can't think of them at the mo'. X-D

Yoko Kanno makes really awesome anime soundtracks: Escaflowne and Wolf's Rain are my particular favorites of hers.
Vampire Princess Miyu and Noir also have wonderful music as well. But, I ADORE the Weiss Kreuz band. I'm a fangirl of the seiyuu in that series, so I can't resist them. :? |
I really love the soundtrack for Heroic Legend of Arislan. It's haunting and exotic while still being very orchestral.
Also, anything Sakura Taisen related. :D At least, the Tokyo girls. The rest of them, I just haven't gotten into yet. Mononoke Hime and Haibane Renmei and Lain soundtracks are also all enjoyable. |

Hmmm, I love the songs for FMA, DN Angel, the Gundam Series (which are the songs I've looked up recently). There are a lot more but I can't think of them out of the top of my head. XDDD;;

Ok I'm not totaly crazy with Dragonball (anymore, those days are over)
but I realy like the song Hitori Janai from Deen, the ending song for Dragonball GT XD I also like the intro song for Records of Loddoss war TV series. No clue what the song is called and who sung it, too lazy to look up atm. I also like the songs from Full Moon wo Sagashite alot, and Asian Kung Fu Generation - Haruka Kanata, the 2nd opening from Naruto. Asian Kung Fu Generation makes good music btw, looked up a few songs on Youtube ^^ I like them! |
Any by Megumi Hayashibara, Yoko Kano, Akino Arai or Iwao Junko are great. I don't have favorite soundtracks--I've never owned any. xD

I like the bleach soundtracks... from the anime and the 2nd and 3rd FMA soundtrack. The chobits theme song "Let me be with you" was really the very first japanese song I liked and it was the song that got me into jpop.

I'm not t fond of OST in general as most of them are void of voice, which I love to hear. I like the opening of some tv sho mostly. Like the one of Ghost in the Shell. The opening and ending of the first sesson are so impressive. |
