I have yellow and it was my first game. I was absolutely obsessed with it when I was 5 and until I was 7, then I got gold. But it was really fun, even though I never finished the game...

O_O You shouldn't say something like that unless you want some kind of hardcore gamers preaching to you about how older games are the best or something like that. XD I know a lot of hardcore gamers think the original game installment of a series, such as Final Fantasy or Dragon Warriors or whatnot are the best, and though I have tried to go back to play these things on the SNES or what have you, the graphics were a huge turn off. Granted, there are spiffed up versions of these now, so it's easier on the eyes.. XD

Pokemon Red Version was my first ever. I remember getting that Gameboy Color.. It was the first video game system I ever owned. I still have it. XD I had a Blastoise that almost hit level 100. ^^ Didn't make it. Red/Blue is my UTMOST favorite, even to this day, I think they were the best.

You're missing out on Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald. =o I was totally HYPED with Fire Red/Leaf Green, the remakes for Red/Blue, and now that game is my favorite. Of course, with Red/Blue being the originals for that remake, I have to love that too, right?

When I was in 4th grade I played Pokemon Red every day on the schoolbus.
