just think of it as a public bath house where everyone takes a bath, but in this bathhouse's case, its like a pool xDDD rofl! *secretly builds a onsen* xD

Bathhouses are kind of Roman styled pools, where everyone gets in and soak XD

koji lives here and does not go foten XD;;..but to go, its best to go in the mountains. I went to onsen when I visit my friend waaayyy in Shizouka (its near the bottom of Mount Fuji). That was cool, because you can sit and watch nature..like monkeys jumping around the trees and that XD..(>_>..note to self~ make bathhouse on a side of a mountain and add onsen extension and monkeys..and a koala D:..)

Elie's family is all in Hawaii... and it was elie's first time to Japan last year X3 Stayed a month with a friend, and she took me to 5 different onsens... mostly in the mountains of Northern japan *O* Tho we did go to one by the Ocean also *____*

Koji: oooh mt fuji *O* Elie went to Mt Fuji but couldn't see it </3 Took the JR to the station closest to Mt Fuji, but the weather was continuously cloudy and rainy. Didn't get to see Mt Fuji at all during entire trip T_T But lol! monkeys! Elie didn't see monkeys but yush it was really in smack middle of nature XD

Uploaded some piccies:

Very famous Onsen in Akita mountains... various baths for women and men and both
Close to the first onsen... didn't get pictures inside since there were people there
Onsen by the Ocean in Iwate... instead of sulfur, it was salt based
Stole a picture inside that onsen when no one was there XD... but the other indoor baths were full
Onsen on Mt. Iwate
Separate onsen by the river... O.O

@ elie: but since i thought elie also has japanese blood in her, i thought may be elie goes to visit XD; sorry for assuming that @[email protected]; /omg! elie likes onsens lots! and those piccas are so pretty!! *A* i wish i had gone to onsen when i was there 8 years ago TTATT;; uncle was too busy with his work and schooling then to take us for onsen ;___; may be next time!!
