As to answering the second question about anyone who had a past life, I don’t know anyone like that, but there is a famous person that is said to reincarnate all the time. He is the leader of Xi Zang, which is a territory in China that I don’t know the English name is. Apparently, he always reincarnates after he died. Before he dies, he would tell his followers where to find his reincarnated self. Then the child they found will be taken back and raised as the leader.
I think in this case, he would have passed Locke’s “test” for determining if he was the original person because some say that he processes the memory of past life and acted like the person he was before. However, it could also be argued that he only acted and thought in this way because he was trained to be like that ever since he was small. Hence, if he was to be raised in another situation, he would not pass Locke’s “test” even if he was the reincarnated leader!

Here’s an example of how I think external and internal constraints work together when faced with a choice. If I was told to murder someone and I would get a reward in the end, I would not do it even if the reward is tempting. The external constraints would be that I broke the law and society will see me as an outcast and therefore, put me in jail. My friends would be disappointed in me, and my parents maybe even won’t accept me as their daughter after I got released. The internal constraints I have would be that it is against my morality. If I don’t have the believe that killing is wrong, then I would have no problem killing that person. However, I think that killing is wrong and I would have conflict with myself. Would I be happy to kill someone? Is it just? Of course, the answer would be no.
There are no possible ways to fully eliminate the freedom I can use. Even when I think I have rid off the external constraints when acting on certain things, I have not. I am acting on my believes that was learnt from around me. Therefore, I think that, acting freely is not possible and the only way to feel I am acting freely is by not thinking about it and just act.

Yupyup, commas are complicated but you can keep a few theories in your head that'll never fail you~ And subject-verb agreement is based on parallelism~ Just find the subject and make sure it matches with the verb. 8D I'll sound weird if I recite them. Uh, books have them, very useful~
