I love how smooth the lines look (it makes the art look almost vector) and I love her hair (and the octopus!) Also, beautiful color choice!! <3 You should add a pearl on her necklace (where the clam(?) is) ^.^ |

It's been interesting. My grandmother has fell 3 times in the past too days and she had to go up to the hospital to be checked out the last time she fell. The stupid quack at the ER sent her back over to the nursing home without prescribing something for the pain she is having. How has your's been? @ Squishy: Thank you. I'm glad you noticed the vector aspect. I decided to try out some of the things I've learned in one of my art classes. So I've been using Illustrator to make most of this. After I do a little tweaking I'll finishing it in Photoshop. I also love the octopus and the colors. I might have to try adding a pearl to the necklace. |

Yeah...it's hard to tell though. She's really out of it.
That's really cute. It also reminds me that I need to make a Temp journal to keep all the art that people make in. It's going to be a scrapbook type thing where I keep track of all the people that stick around and I make avi art for along with art people make of me, the official mascots and the other patients from the mascot contest. EDIT: Yeah Adobe Illustrator. Depending on what I'm doing determines what program I prefer. When I'm doing pixel art I use Photoshop and Paint. Though until I get better at drawing using my tablet I'll be making vector art when it comes to the CGs I do. So I use a combination of Illustrator and Photoshop. |
