*rolls in* Hey-o. Been awhile since I visited. : 3 How goes things?

sychobunny 05-16-2008 04:23 PM

'ello all ^.^

Hmmm I actually don't like the games now, so I don't play any of them.
I even don't like this tetris; and I love tetris.

blueblackrose 05-16-2008 04:26 PM

Nah y'all aren't. It'll just depend on what items you like. Most of the stuff is very affordable, but there sometimes are things that are very expensive as well. I just want to make sure I have the gold I need for an expensive item without haven't to dive into my questing fund too much.

Edit: Hello syco.
Yeah...the games are ok. I don't really have a problem with playing them though.

Sonarius 05-16-2008 04:31 PM

Ah, well that makes sense. I ahve a feelnig I"m going to be spending as much of my time as I can outdoors this weekend though. They are finally calling for lovley weather *basks in the wonderful vitamin D*

My Cup Of Chai 05-16-2008 04:33 PM

I've been playing Tetris non-stop for the last several days. x3 Going back and forth between my main and mule that way I can spend the gold on my main for quest type stuff and then the gold I have on my mule I'm saving for the event. ^^

Sonarius 05-16-2008 04:40 PM

I can't play games right now becasue I'm at work, and I jsut don't want to fare being caught playing games while on the clock. That woudl jsut be not good. So I'll just live with what I get from posting occasionally. <3

At least we're not having a silly Prom Event. Jeebus... I've gone to prom twice arleady, and onyl one didn't suck... they were both nice... but I can defiently live without them. Murr.

blueblackrose 05-16-2008 04:52 PM

@ Chai: I've been playing the games some because I haven't really had anyone to chat with.
I have my gold for my quest on my mule so I'm not tempted to spend it.

@ Sona: I'm glad that you're going to have a nice weekend.
It's suppose to rain all weekend where I live.

Yes I'm thankful we aren't having a prom event. I only went to one prom and it sucked.

Sonarius 05-16-2008 05:04 PM

my first prom was fantastic (of course it was, because it wasn't mine!) and my second one was okay, but the memories are marred knowing all the people at the time I considered freinds that I went with revealed themselves only a few days later as a bunch of two faces XP . But the first one is still good memories (Different schools, different countries, different freinds).

Now I just seei t as an all over ostentatious event that really means nothing. Back when my mother had her prom, that was it. The next day you got your grad degree and you were done. Proms now are several months/weeks off, you still have to go back to school and do finals, and the grad is completly off kilter with when you actually graduate also, which all makes no sense and is rather confusing. It's no longer a 'One Last Big Hurrah'... it's jsut a fancy school dance. I don't know about you, but most of my school dances sucked.

Paprika 05-16-2008 05:13 PM

/chews on random people

Megan needs event naoooo D:

blueblackrose 05-16-2008 05:26 PM

I've always thought that Prom was overrated.
The after party was better then prom was. The theme for my prom was Paris or something. They had the motto for it in French and never provided a translation for people who don't know any French. Prom was cheap in my opinion, but oh well.

@ Paprika: Nuuuu, not my pretty hat!

Sonarius 05-16-2008 05:35 PM

Yeah, same. My second prom (my actual grad prom) was pretty cheap, but the dry grad was good... though again, marred by the knowledge the people I went with sucked rotton balls.

The first prom I had though was actually incredibly nice, especially since there was no dry grad as we lived in a country where alcohal was illegal anyway and it was our first grade 12 graduation since only that year had we been legally allowed to have an expat private high school in full. (grew up in Saudi Arabia)

We had this huge gym, and they covered the ground of it with grass sod and planted flower bushes and ornate street lights in there, with a shiny blue section cordoned off as a lake/dance floor. The grass sod was for the hill next to the running track, but they figured they'd use it for something nice for one night before they put it out there. Fantastic effect. The other half of the gym was sprinkled with these little white ball things to emulate snow (stuck like a mopho to your dress, but it was fun as hell to spin and watch them all fly off in a tizzy) and they had three ice skulptures set up around the buffet. They had a diner section set up with tropical flower center pieces and candles in cups... The food was freshly cooked and not rubber and it was just fantastic. They covered the overhead lamps with paper lanterns to look like moons and had a picture area set up with a mini gazeebo and a iron and wood park bench.

Overall, incredibly beautiful, I was there with great freinds, and it's the one I prefer to remember as 'prom' even though it wasn't mine (I was in tenth grade. I left the school that year though to go back to Canada though).

blueblackrose 05-16-2008 05:40 PM

The first one does sound like it was very nice and beautiful. I don't blame you for prefering to remember it as your prom instead.

Paprika 05-16-2008 05:50 PM

the hat is tasty! D:

and im kinda here but not...cleaning day today @@;;

blueblackrose 05-16-2008 05:59 PM

The message is gone, does that mean the event is going to start soon?

Sonarius 05-16-2008 06:01 PM

The threads are starting up, but the store is still unavailable, so prolly a few more minutes and it wil lbe going. How long is this event exactly anyway?

... It will probalby start the moment I go to get lunch. XD

Sera 05-16-2008 06:02 PM

sychobunny 05-16-2008 06:08 PM

I went to my afterbash though... that was fun.
