I don't know which one I like better.
I think Colin Firth is a better Darcy, but I liked Keira better as Elizabeth. Really though, I love them both! A lot of people I've met only like the BBC version or the Working Title version and can't like both. Oh well. The book is still the best xD Now, I have to watch Bride and Prejudice! Hah hah! |
I haven't seen the BBC version, but I thought the Keira Knightly version was great and I would definitely watch it again. Although, I feel that the book was better than the movie.

I love both versions. The actors in both movies did a really nice job with the characters they portrayed and I do love how each played the character a little differently but still managed to stay true to the original.
Granted the movie version needed to shorten things a bit due to time constraints but it didn't feel like I really missed out on anything. I also think one thing that really sold the movie to me was Mr Darcy, Matthew Macfadyen. I wasn't sure about seeing a remake of Pride and Prejudice until I saw he was Mr Darcy. I loved him in MI-5/Spooks and was so happy to see that he had left the series for a movie rather than being dropped because someone didn't like him. |
Pandas and Flamingos!
I've heard of it and think I know the movie but I don't know. I'm not sure, not really that suprising I don't remember something though.

I've seen both versions. I personally liked both of them very much.
The BBC version is very close to the book, which is obviously a good thing for people who are literalists and don't appretiate the more "interpreted" version of the new movie. But I have to say, I LOVED the new movie!! The imagery is amazing, and Mr. Darcy - soooo hot!!! *drools* But other than my love for Mr. Darcy... The movie is simply amazing. It made me super happy inside, and that's really all I can say about it till I start to get tongue tied about how much I love it. |
its so romantic!!! wish my live was like that
