@Dimitri: I want to yell at them really bad, but I figure if I did that then they would put my case to the side and just not work on it.
I need the book by this week! My next set of assignments starts on Tuesday, I need the book to read in order to do them. It's an online course so the book is my life source! I might just have to ask the in class professor for help. As for TK..........I haven't talked to her for four days. So I'm going to call her tomorrow and if she doesn't answer then I'm going to sit in front of her house and bang on the door. I'm a huge worry wort so I freak out easily. Four days is a little excessive for us not to talk or have any sign of her online. I'm sure it's fine though! |
@Bani: Well, I'd at least demand the extra money paid for the overnight delivery (or whatever it was) since it obviously didn't do any good to pay it in the first place. I'm sure that it was expensive and all

I'm sure it'll be okay. Sometimes she just dissapears without telling me. I don't know why. One time she went to Disney and didn't tell me so for an entire week one year during spring break. I called and wondered where she was the entire time. I've come to terms with the fact that she just does that. *laughs* |
@Bani: Well, the thing that I've noticed with places that sell things over the internet or mail-order or anything like that is the fact that they think that they can take advantage of women, because most of them won't complain. I've had to call places up because of my ex-wife several times because she'd try to take care of it on her own and they'd "bowl her over" with a bunch of silver-tongued, sugar-coated fast-talk to make her believe that she was getting a good deal or whatever. And when I call in and they hear a male on the line, they try to do the same thing, but I stop them and tell them that I don't care about their "deals" and I just want the shit canceled and my money back. They usually shut up after that except for a bunch of "yes, sir"s and "I understand, sir"s and "It's all taken care of for you, sir"s. :rofl:
Hmm... Maybe we ought to put a GPS collar on TK or something like that :XD |

Nah, I doubt that she'd be able to do a "man voice" if her life depended on it. I'll tell you one thing, though, if she's ever able to do a "man voice", she'd better be careful of when she chooses to use it. I mean, if she were to do a "man voice" during... well, let's just call it an "extra curricular activity"... @Dimitri: Yar, my family has friends who are dual citizens of American and Australia...and I'm sure I had a professor a few years ago who was dual America/Canada. It's a awful process to go through supposedly though.
