The store we bought the laptop at wanted to set it up for her, of course.
But I said "I don't think so. I'll do it myself, thank you very much :stare: "

Eh, it was Best Buy. Aryah wanted a touch-screen comp, and Best Buy was the only store that had one. So that's where we went :yes:

Well, I dunno. I mean, I started the most recent update download when I got back online, and it's only about 17% downloaded (out of 6 gig) :roll:
So, it's going to take quite a while.

Aryah got a 2 year warranty on it. If anything breaks on it, they give her a new one altogether :yes:

I say watch out for that warranty.. yeah it'll cover you if there's specific hardware problems, but not if it's from own stupidity, or viruses/spam ware that makes it on the computer. They don't cover that at all. ^^ I never go for the warranty myself because of that... waste of extra money that can be put elsewhere.

@Miki: Not here on Mene. I used to have a couple on Gaia, but I haven't been to Gaia since I decided that I like Mene better than Gaia. So, I only have the B&B now :yes: Why do you ask?

She's watching some series (House, I think) on TV while I set her comp up. Unfortunately, as slow as these updates are loading, I might not be able to get her comp ready for her to use for about another 4 hours or so... (it would probably help if my brother would quit playing Maple Story for a while until I can get the updates downloaded :roll: )

@Kale: Yeah, I normally agree with you on the warranties. But, since this laptop has a touchscreen, and it doesn't take a whole lot to damage a touchscreen, she figured that getting the warranty was a good idea. Besides, I don't think she's actually going to take the comp out of the house. But, who knows? Maybe she'll prove me wrong on that :sweat:
