I don't really like fairy tales myself. It annoys me to death how the main character is always this beautiful girl doing a bunch of good deeds. Then, she meets a man that is handsome and she falls in love with him in an instant. Then they unite because he knows that she'll make a good wife because of her beauty and kindness.

It really. Really. Pisses me off.

Take Cinderella for instance. If you fall in love with a girl after you dance with her, that isn't love. That's lust.

And now that I've brought my dark pessimism into your conversation, I'll leave. XD

To Dystopia: Thats fien, I understand how you feel. I've always disliked the beautiful princess and the handsome prince falling in love on sight. That is why I have read Dealing with Dragons by Patricia C. Wrede about twenty-four or five times. Princess Cimorene is awesome! If you like out-spoken princess and dragons that is the book for you :yes:.

To Morwyn: I have always been a fantasy person. Always.

Dystopia: Oh, I agree... doesn't mean I don't like it though. I do agree that love at first sight is absolutely ridiculous, and I absolutely refuse to even roleplay it. My characters never fall in love at first sight. I've had one where months has passed in the rp without any falling in love.

Haythia: I love fantasy too... just never been big on mermaids. I'm a huge LotR fan, though.

@ Queen - I've read that book before. xD I just don't quite remember the plotline.

@ Mor - Ogawd. o_O; Perfect couple RP chars... *shudders in fear*

@ Queen - Only part of the series I remember is when she encounters some creature that gives her the choice of how she wants to die, and she replies "Old age."

*sigh* I'm tired of these meds knocking my ass out for several hours at a time. I think I've slept more in the last few days than I have for almost the two weeks prior to taking the meds :XP
