I just got back from finishing off my Christmas shopping... yeah, I put it off for a long time, but I also didn't have money for it until recently anyways XD How are you? |

Oh, I buy stuff like decorations after Christmas, but we open presents on Christmas day, and even my parents and sister are coming down to visit on Christmas day, I just found out yesterday, so I had to go ahead and buy their presents. I was going to wait until after Christmas to do that too, but I figured it'd be good to go ahead and do that since they'll be here, you know XD So that's who I was shopping for today. I had already gotten things for my husband and sister-in-law... Saturday, I think it was? I can't remember now. >.<
And, no, there is no snow here. Makes me really sad because where I grew up, we almost always had snow for Christmas. |
oooh. thats nice of you. ^.^ usually i spend christmas at my grandparents where its celebrated on the 24th.. but this year I'm in america, so no christmas for me.. i got myself a cactus tho XD thats my christmas gift.. haha

Well... a cactus is nice, I guess. I'm no good with plants, though XD I'm excited, a few presents that I found were just perfect. Just in case my husband reads over my shoulder at any point, I'm going to type it in white XD because I just have to tell... I got him Porco Rosso (which he has been really wanting to have and is really hard to find) and a Sega Genesis. He has Sonic and Mortal Kombat for it already, just didn't have the system to play them on XD I'm also excited about what I found for my sister. She's going to be going to college next year, so she's going to need certain things that she hasn't needed before... like towels. So I got her some towels, but they're not just any towels! They have Spiderman embroidered on them! (She absolutely loves Spidey, btw XD) So they're extra special cool towels XD |
haha. thats soo cool! mostly people are only excited for christmas because of the gifts they receive, but you seem to enjoy giving gifts too ^.^ thats really rare.. and thats an awesome gift too XD

Yeah, I like Batman too, and Iron Man. She's a huge Spidey fan, though XD She also really likes Pirates, but I found the Spidey stuff first. Oh, and she loves Yoda for some reason too XD I mean, he is cool... it just seems random to me.
I wish I could've gotten her some awesome art supplies, but I don't have the money for anything that would be really good and I'm not sure what medium is her favorite anymore. Like, I know she does pencil drawings, but she got a nice colored pencil set awhile ago, and I know she works with clay... *shrug* Yeah, she's the artsy type and really good. She's going to go to college to do something with art, I don't think she's figured out exactly what yet, though. |
