Yeah, it's strange. There's usually at least 3 other people that come in here on a nightly basis. Of course, I don't know what's been going on for the last few months since I've been busy with work and all... (the holidays are a busy time of the month for truckers)

MedievalBeauty 01-05-2009 03:24 AM

Hello *waves*

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 03:26 AM

Heya, MedievalBeauty. How's it going?

Morwyn 01-05-2009 03:29 AM

*jumps in and dances around the thread.* <3 Wheeeeeeeeeee!

hello <3

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 03:31 AM

Hey there, Morwyn. Haven't seen you in a while. How have you been?

Morwyn 01-05-2009 03:32 AM

Well... I'm tired, but I'm so happy <3 Yay XD

How are you doing, Dimitri?

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 03:35 AM

Eh, I'm a little tired. But I'm doing alright other than that.

So, why so happy? Special occasion?

MedievalBeauty 01-05-2009 03:41 AM

Quite Well, Yourself?

Morwyn 01-05-2009 03:43 AM

Dimitri: Nah... just some things are going well that I've been waiting for... for like a couple of months now.

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 03:44 AM

I'm doing alright. Tired, but alright.
I'd be doing better if I could get a truck that wasn't breaking down on me every other time I turned around. Maybe I'd be able to make some more money instead of losing money while waiting for my truck to get fixed.

--EDIT--

@Morwyn: Well, I'm glad to hear that things are going well for you. It's nice to hear when things are at least going well for someone

Morwyn 01-05-2009 03:50 AM

aw, I'm sorry you're still having truck problems D:
I'm really just happy over very trivial things... I'm still job-less and living with my sister-in-law, though, but at least I can get happy over stupid little things, yeah? XD *is easily amused*

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 03:57 AM

Well, it's not really surprising, considering that my truck has over 560,000 miles on it. If it were up to me, that truck would have been put out to pasture or something like that. Especially since it seems like at least one of the people that had the truck before me didn't take very good care of it.

Well, it's good to be easily amused. it means that it's easier for someone to be happy, even if there are still things that aren't so good happening around them. I know that didn't come out right, but I can't think of a better way to say it right now. :P

Morwyn 01-05-2009 04:01 AM

Oh, I understand what you meant, don't worry about it. <3

MedievalBeauty 01-05-2009 04:04 AM

Dimitri Bloodbane: Oh, damn. How is gets fixed soon. I'm a little tired as well. The weather is making me sleepy.

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 04:06 AM

Yeah, well, getting back to the truck issue, I'm supposed to be due to get a new truck now, but the department in charge of assigning new trucks is being really idiotic about it and aren't assigning new trucks like they're supposed to. Not sure what's going on with them, though. Maybe they're just following orders or something, but it's still really damn annoying... :stare:

--EDIT--

@MedievalBeauty: I hope so, too. But I hope more that I get a new truck soon.

I know how that goes. Rain relaxes me and makes me sleepy. And it seems that the winter season makes a lot of people sleepy and such.

MedievalBeauty 01-05-2009 04:14 AM

Dimitri Bloodbane: It's the opposite for me. It's boiling hot, and it's making me tired lol. I'm odd like that.

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 04:17 AM

Actually, I can understand that, too. When it gets too hot, it makes it hard for me to sleep. If I have a hard time sleeping, I'm naturally tired the next day.

Just out of curiosity, Where are you from where it's so hot?

MedievalBeauty 01-05-2009 04:31 AM

Dimitri Bloodbane: I'm from Australia. It's currently summer here.

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 04:33 AM

Ahh, one of the two places that I've always wanted to visit

I live in America, by the way
>.>

MedievalBeauty 01-05-2009 04:40 AM

Dimitri Bloodbane: I figured as much XD.

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 04:42 AM

That obvious, eh?

MedievalBeauty 01-05-2009 04:49 AM

Yeah, kinda.

Most sites are flooded with people from the U.S XD.

Australia is like phoenix weather according to my Michigan friend that moved Australia last year.

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 04:53 AM

I'm not so sure about that. Does Australia get snow? Because there was snow in Phoenix this year. There was even snow in some areas of southern Texas this year... The weather is getting pretty freaky over here

MedievalBeauty 01-05-2009 05:04 AM

No, Australia doesn't have snow but my friend meant as in the heat is the same as phoenix.

Dimitri Bloodbane 01-05-2009 05:08 AM

Ahh, ok. I understand now.

Well, I can tell you that extreme heat and high humidity are not my friends  Which is somewhat ironic, considering that my pickup truck (I think y'all call them "utes", right? Or has that changed now?) doesn't have an air conditioner in it  :P
