I know! Instead of going out, trying new things, and whatnot...they'd rather whine and grumble about how much they would rather be at home. Sorry...but they joined the army. >_> If they wanted to stay home, they could have joined the reserves or national guard....
I think this is the best place to be. Even a lot of people I went through training with agreed with that a couple of days after we arrived. Good weather, good food, nice people...I mean, even the roads are nice. >_> In Texas, there are so many potholes and dead grass everywhere. When we were in Seoul, there were people fixing up small cracks and keeping all of the bushes and flowers well trimmed and watered. xD *agrees about Mene* xD It's definitely my favorite stress reliever. 8D *shakes head* I help coordinate events. Every now and then I'll do art, but I'm not the same as the Developers. xD |

@Brilliance: As long as I have a pass, I can travel even to other countries. xD Otherwise, I believe I have to stay within...forgot how many miles. @[email protected];; *laughs* It actually came from...uh...okay, I don't know WHAT it was, but some kind of business right across the street from my campus had the name "Hole in the Wall." I thought it was interesting and wanted my own. ;D I was also humored that it's a small, hard to find place. Ohoho! *nods* I got to stay on a base in Seoul for a week. I wanted to go to the city, but because some people are so unaccustomed to how things are in Korea, they forced us to stay on base for our own safety. :/ A lot of people in the army never even left their hometown before going to basic training, much less ride a plane......so I can see where this concern came from. Haha, yes, that's what keeps me on Mene. xD I get so overwhelmed my Gaia...And other small sites, I dunno...I just find a hard time talking to people sometimes. Like I'm not welcome when I peep in for conversation. ^^; The only advice I could give is, start making a portfolio. So if the opportunity arises, you have your best works ready to put out there. ^^ @Kuky: *prods* |

Sorry for the delayed response. I had to go take care of a few things that needed to be done today. I'm doing alright. Just kinda hanging out and all. You know, you've got some good arts. I might have to try to commission some arts from you of my OCs :ninja:

Well, let me re-phrase that: I can draw good art, but it just takes me too long to draw them and color them and such. Besides, I'm not any good at giving my art any depth unless I color them by hand with colored pencils... :XP |

Well, I'd show you some of my art, but the last time I scanned any art onto my comp was a hard drive or two ago. So I don't have any more of my art on my comp. I MIGHT have one or two pieces on my photobucket account, but I'm not sure. I'll have to check. :ninja: I'll be right back.
--EDIT-- I managed to find a couple of pieces that I did a year or two ago. The first one, I was just kinda doodling around and turned it into a silhouette. Not excellent, but good. I know that I've got room for improvement, though. To explain the second piece of art a little, the girl had two accounts. So, I drew her main account standing in a pool of water, and the reflection portrays the mule account's avatar being the same essence, but visually different. (if that makes any sense). |

That's true. But I need to actually have the time, space, and mood to practice. I haven't had the time with my job keeping me so busy (I'm an over-the-road trucker). And then, I haven't had the space because I turned my computer desk into a workspace to put my models together after my desktop crashed (I'm using my laptop right now). And even if I hadn't, I haven't really been in the mood for drawing anything lately. Plus, I need to hook my scanner back up. :sweat: Mmm, I know all about jobs killing people, since my job damn-near killed me back on the 2nd of this month. I've been off work ever since trying to heal my injuries... :XP |
