Very nice, my plans don't start until tomorrow night when I'm at the track from 9pm to 2am.
What movie do you plan on seeing? |
Imagination: Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, I just finished the book <3
|
Oh I can't say I've heard of it...and I didn't know it was based off of a book o.o
Hopefully its not like most movies that are based off of books and actually turns out to be a really really decent movie ^^ |
@Zea: *lol* Good answer. :yes:
@Imagination: ...work... Damn super sale weekend... :stare: |
Ah for which retail company do you have the pleasure of working for? :p
|
XD No, Zea, I am DRAWING THEM. Even if it kills me. D:
Dimi: D: Wahhhh! You're in the future!! YOU TOO IMAGINATION?! I have no plans for the weekend. Just sleep and internet time. Maybe play some games. |
Imagination: My sister has seen it and says It's not like the book but whether It's good or not is a completely different question, I hope it is <3
Helios: Okay XD |
I'm wherever your mind takes me and wants me to be Helios ;)
|
@imagination: I'm a tech at the local NTB. Maybe not the best job in the world, but it's still a job and it pays me money.
@Helios: TK is further in the future than we are. ;) |
I'm further than all of you (I think...)! I'm in Australia!
|
Ah, sounds better then my job. I work for a molding company called ECP...7am-3pm Monday-Friday with weekends rotating on and off for overtime...
|
*eating an odd "breakfast"*
Yay, zea and I are wayyy in the future. ;D *poses* Some of my coworkers want to go see Alice in Wonderland, but I think we're confined to the post. :/ Not sure because what our command says and what higher up says are two different things. <_<;; *throws hands up* I think I'll just stay in this weekend. |
@Zea: Really? Wow. I know that TK is in Korea, but I'm not sure whether she's ahead of you, or if you're ahead of her.
@Imagination: Mmm, I'd like to have a normal work schedule again... I have to deal with rotating schedules every week. Not only do the hours that I work differ from day to day, but my days off differ from week to week. So, until they put the new schedule up each week, I don't even know what my days off will be unless I request specific days off. --EDIT-- @TK: Aww, I wanna see that, too. By the way, I'm almost done with the pics that I'm working on! :boogie: I'm a little worried with how one of them is turning out, though... Made a poor choice in choosing colors, I think... |
Oh that does bite...luckily there are only three shifts to deal with at my company...7-3, 3-11, 11-7 ..and weekends are usually only for part timers...they keep the weekdays for the full time employees
|
@Ultima: I wanted to see American McGee's Alice, but surprisingly enough, it's still not ready yet. *been waiting years* It just sounded so creepy.
Awww, that's why I color on the computer. xD I get to manipulate even after I screw things up! *pats* I bet it looks great. ;3 @Imagination: *looks at the times* :< At the other clinic I was working on, those were the hours they promised us for months. >_> Never got them due to shortages...sigh. |
Ah...well luckily I work in a molding factory and their schedule is set in stone as far as I've seen for the past 2 years :p
|
If we were paid extra, I wouldn't mind working as much as I do. But nope, don't. xD
|
@TK: That's the one with the really dark, creepy, bloody feeling to it, right?
Yeah, but I'm not spiffy enough to have a decent art program on my comp. I'm stuck with MS Paint, or doing it by hand. Maybe after I get a new laptop, I'll spring for photoshop or something. Maybe I'll even spring for a tablet. :ninja: |
Ah I got lucky enough to land decent pay starting out, 9.03 an hour with an extra dollar an hour if I have to work on the weekends...plus overtime
|
@Ultima: It was based on a game back in the 90s. Something about what happened to Alice after she returned home...Family dies in a fire, she goes to a mental institution, then returns to a deranged Wonderland. My friend told me about it like...three or four years ago? o_o It was slated to be released last year.
There are some art programs for free. Pixia and Gimp. I never could figure out Pixia and I haven't tried Gimp. But I've heard good things about both. *nods* Tablets are kind of cheap nowadays. Something like $80 for a Bamboo? Or if you want a larger one that's cheaper than Wacoms, you can go for a different brand. @Imagination: ...lucky. I have to get promoted to get a raise. xD |
@TK: Yeah, that sounds like the same one. I'd like to see that one too.
Hrm, I dunno much about art programs, to be honest. And I know even less about tablets. :XD I'll just ask your opinion about them once I actually get around to getting one. |
Here's the site for GIMP: GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program
And here's the site for Pixia: introducing Pixia & Phierha I only have experience with Wacom. I've had the Grapphire 2 for years and it's still been good to me. I want to upgrade to a Intuos, but the price is intimidating. @[email protected] |
How bad of a price do you mean by "intimidating"?
w00t! Just finished one of the pics! :boogie: Now to finish up the other one. |
Hello Tori!
|
@Ultima: I'm looking at the medium or large tablet. Medium is $369 and large is $499. *head explodes* I just want something larger and better than the Graphire (what I have) and Bamboo (the one that replaced the Graphires).
Yay! Can't wait to see them done! :D I plan on working on art after I eat. *coughs* @zea: Hey there! How are you? |
