Ahh, you're a nervous speaker, huh? Well, you could always do what people suggested to me for speaking in front of a group. Just pretend that they're all naked and you're the only person in the room wearing any clothes. Of course, that may not be the best of ideas if you're shy about seeing nude people (even if it's only in your mind/imagination)... :sweat: |

@Hopelessly: Aw, good luck with it! You should have fun with it. I used to be super shy before taking theatre. What helped me is getting into the character...I'm not ME that people are staring at or "judging." It's the character. So while I'm not totally comfortable with speaking in front of crowds, I don't tremble like I did before taking that class. xD |

Turns out that the problem is a hardware issue with her keyboard. So the whole keyboard has to be replaced. The good news is that it's covered under the warranty, so we don't have to pay anything to get it fixed. The bad news is that that's not something that can be fixed in-store, so it has to be sent off to HP to get fixed, and it'll take about 3 weeks before we get her comp back. And that should be right in the middle of one of Aryah's trips, so she probably won't be able to get online with her comp for a total of about 4 weeks... :sweat: |

@TK: No, the store is going to send it to HP, and HP will send it back to the store once it's repaired. Then I'll need to go to the store to pick the laptop up. I asked several times just to make sure that everything was covered under the warranty and that we wouldn't have to pay anything, and they assured every time that there was no out-of-pocket expenses. So I'll be really pissed off if they suddenly tell me "Oh, by the way, you owe us $X for the repairs".
Oh, and just to let you know, I'm going to have to leave in about 30 min to take Aryah back to the truck. I'll probably be gone about an hour, but I'll be back afterward.
