@Kat: I know how you feel. Although my problem is more along the lines of my comp acting up rather than my internet. I really need to get a new comp, but I'm putting it off as long as I can. Partially because I've been too busy with work, and the hours that I work tend to make it difficult for me to do any kind of shopping, and also partially because I've just been too lazy to go out and shop for a new comp when I do have the time. I don't think I'll be able to put it off much longer, though. It's gotten to the point that I can't even check my email account anymore. :XP

Both versions look pretty good to me. What area are you having concerns about?
She's supposed to be home again at the beginning of next month. Around the 2nd or 3rd or so. |
the hair!!! :gonk: I think it looks better in the first one but that's the first version and I'm going to wear some deep eraser marks in the paper if I keep changing it. I still have to color the pic.

Ahh, ok. I see what you mean now. Let's see. I'd say that the way the hair is drawn in the first version makes it look like there's some movement going on, like she's side-stepping or bobbing or something. The hair in the second version makes it look like she's standing still and waiting for something. So, I suppose it boils down to whether you want to make it look like she's moving or standing still. Personally, I like the way the hair looks in the first version because of the movement thing I mentioned earlier. :yes:

Thanks. ^^ Things can always be worse. I could be deployed right now. ^^;; I'm just going to hope tomorrow goes easily. Having to do a day shift after working a night shift is going to be a drudge to get through.

It's amazing how on days when there are plenty of medics available, no one shows up. Then put only one on duty *raises hand* and over sixty decide to show up for everything from colds, musculoskeletal injuries, and the ultra common nausea, vomiting, diarrhea combo. Then add a huge accident - a construction crane flips upside down right across the street. Then add the fact that the other medic on duty purposely misses the bus, using the, I was eating lunch excuse, so he ends up THREE HOURS LATE. He should have asked someone to come in to take his place once he knew he "missed" the bus. So when he came in, I made him see all the patients that came in so I could finish all the notes I was writing on all the patients I had. Had to hunt him down, because he kept hiding to go talk to his friends. And then at the end of the shift he has the nerve to ask if he can leave early. And add, oh, are you mad? It's like the world hates me, lol. |
