I was at a doll meet on Sunday, and had him standing. I trust him to stand on his own no problem, I've never had him faceplant before.. but I suppose there was enough vibrations from the elevator behind the thick cement wall that knocked him off balance. I wasn't near him and those who were didn't react in time to catch him. >.<

What exactly do you do at a doll meet?

We just talk about the dolls, show off our work, take pictures. Some bring items to sell and offer services like restringing, tips on faceups, and modding. One of the girls that were around when Les fell offered to fix him up for no cost, and I may take her up on it depending on how the faceup I give him turns out with the 'scar'

We just sorta talk, play and have fun. It's really quite amusing.

That sounds cute. ^^ I hope she can fix him. *curious what one would do to repair it* How often do you go to doll meets? xD Are they planned often or annual like cons?

Here, there's one every month and another for a 'basics' meet up for tutorials on how to do things.. I haven't been to that one yet.. and I learned there's one this upcoming Saturday but I work so I still can't attend.

Ah, just epoxy sculpt does the trick.. and very fine grit sand paper. Neither of which I have, but she does because of her other hobbies. xP I wouldn't know heads or tails what to do though.. so it's better to let her to do it. -nods- I have to wait a month or so.. so it might grow on me and then I may not want it fixed. :lol: -- I sorta have a story for it already..

Yeah, it's great to have a group to attend that like to share their work on dolls and have an interest in mine. It's also nice to have some friends in the city.

oh, I have seen the ending of that episode but I've missed so many episodes in between that I didn't realize that there was nothing new.
