@And Love: I came back from the Lantern Festival hosted by the Chinese Student Association. ^^ My roommate is a junior officer...and *laughs* she managed to slip to the fronts of lines to grab popcorn and cotton candy for us without waiting in the massive lines. I'm fat from the food they served. ^^

heh. at least you got some popcorn and cotton candy did you have fun? i havent had cotton candy in the longest time lol now i want some.. what did you do at the festival? @Ramp im good to. yeah i was looking to buy an astral halo and the harp cause i wasnt here when they came out but i decided to go for clothes im so into the collectibles cause i know they will rise and that if i dont get them soon then ill never be able to but i decided to take the chance and possibly buy some clothes. i want a spiffy avi good luck on the Halo <3 |

yeah i know what you mean. alot of things rise once i get the gold and im all like NO!!!! but thats inflation for ya.i should go for the halo now or else i wont ever get it. but im not sure yet. |
@And Love: There were only a couple of things to do. I think their budget was a lot lower this year. BUT! They fed us a LOT! xD
There were booths with games and activities. *thinks* Folding stars, Plinko, picking up marbles in a bowl of water with chopsticks, Twister...what else...Oh, and there were singers, dancers, and other performances. I like the dragon and lion dancers. x3 |

Wow that sounds so much fun..and if you say there was only a couple of things to do i could imagine how it was last year ^_^ picking up marbles with chopsticks..wow i would never be able to do that being that i cant hold chopsticks for my life haha. and i never heard of plinko..im not sure what it is..i know twister :oops: |

I think either fewer organizations came or they just bought more food. 8D I'd take free food over more activities any day! :D I think it's kind of funny I grew up teaching myself how to use chopsticks. Then my grandma was like, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG! D< My dad started laughing and said, if she wanted to eat, she had to have figured out how before the food was gone. >_>;; Plinko...you might know what it is without knowing the name! It's a Price is Right game. You have a coin and you drop it down this board. The coin bounces off the knobs and lands in one of the slots. Which ever color it is, you get a prize. I only managed to get two of the medium rare colors. *wanted a gold star* D: |

@ToriKat: Eeeeeee!! I want to play Plinko! That's kind of ironic because I watched part of the million dollar the price is right show tonight with Drew Carey as the host. This kinda creepy facial expressions guy actually WON the million dollars and both show cases which included like, a $75,000 shiny black Cadillac convertable! Oh and I just posted if you feel like reading it at some point, my little introduction post. :p @And Love: I wasn't going to go after as many, but now that I see the prices going up I think I'll have to try for those wings once I finally get the Halo. O____O I am never going to buy more clothes at this rate. XD |

Ohh i know what Plinko is now. i guess i just never knew it was called that heh. haha yeah im so bad with chopsticks. i cant pick anything up lol. i was at this chinese restauraunt with my friends and they were eating with them and i picked up some chicken and it landed on the floor :cry: it kinda flung outta my chopstick or something lmao XDD id rather take free food over more booths too..but i guess that would depend on how hungry i was haha. @Ramp Same here. i wasnt going to buy clothing either i was planning on staying in my undies muahah!! but i still have time to think it over lol |

@And Love: xD!! Awww. I've tried teaching people how to use chopsticks the correct way. I surprise them by eating rice with them. But surprise, slick glass marbles foiled me! I just couldn't pick up 26 marbles in 30 seconds to win a plushie. *cries*

@And Love: Never heard the expression put all your eggs in one basket? Hee hee. It means I'd be putting all my money into the collectibles and not be saving any for future event items and common clothing.
I think I read somewhere's on one of Mr. Mayor's blogs that they aren't doing a St. Patrick's Day event, so no worries I guess. Lol @ToriKat: I have no idea if I use chopsticks the correct way or not, but I can at least pick things up sorta, so I'm okay with that. :p And awwww on the plushie!
