Oh, jeez. I never had to go through the wisdom teeth growing in. All four of mine were surgically removed because there was no way that they'd grow in properly on their own. :XP

only one of my wisdom teeth is coming in right now and it doesn't hurt though its nearly in all the way. I'm kind irked that they dentist wants me to get the removed. there's no problem with them so I don't need it as far as I'm concerned.

And lucky! My one that I have (yes, I only have the one) is coming in straight, and there's room for it and my dentist told me that we could take it out (Bleh.... no thanks, I'll do that as a last resort.) or we could just keep a close eye on it, and let it come in, so that's what I'm doing -- yay! :XD Teething at almost 22 :sweat: SOOOO much fun. /sarcasm... :XD :XD

Kat Oh, yeah, thankfully my Dentist sees that there is room for mine, and that he'd just choose to let it come in and if it comes to needing to take it out surgically, we'll go there, but we'll see how it goes just coming in naturally first.

Kat- Honestly, I don't see the need for wisdom teeth in the first place. I mean, they don't even start coming in until roughly between 18 and 23 years of age. A person goes without them for that long, so what's the point of them? >.>

Hope- I take it that you've never had a tooth extraction before, let alone a surgical tooth extraction? I wouldn't exactly consider it lucky, except for the fact that you don't have to go through the hassle of having them grow in. :sweat: Besides, none of mine were coming in straight in the first place. :XP

well mine are all coming in perfectly straight and there's room to spare even. I have a big mouth! XD

Dimi I have had a tooth extracted before when I was in 7th grade as my adult took came in behind the baby tooth and the baby tooth refused to fall out so they had to pull the baby tooth and I had to wear braces for a year a week and six days and then wear a retainer for a year after that, to move that took into proper place. So yeah, I do know how it feels to have a tooth extracted, but not surgically extracted.... It isn't fun but right now, this tooth is bothering me, not painful, just bleh.... can't put words to it.

Hope- Well, thankfully, the dentists around here will knock you out if you have to have a tooth surgically removed. If the person doesn't have any allergies or adverse reactions to the IV drip that they use to put you under. I guess they'd have to use a local anesthetic, otherwise. I'm sure that would be a nightmare. :XP

OH, yeah, I've got issues with needles... :sweat: I hate it whenever I need a filling... bleh, have to ignore the evil needle... but I couldn't imagine doing it with out a local anesthetic. :XD

And heh heh my roommate is being.... herself. XD
