Kat: Like, for instance, if you have the gear selector with park, neutral, and drive, that's an automatic transmission. If you have a clutch pedal in the car/truck and have to manually switch gears, that's a manual transmission. Most people have cars with automatic transmissions.

Yeah, it's not a surprise. These days, manual transmissions are getting more and more uncommon. You can't even find a manual transmission in pickup trucks made within the last few years. Auto manufacturers are pretty much doing away with manual transmissions in everything except (mostly) performance cars. I have a manual transmission in my car, though.
