Awww! So cute! I especially love the expression on your two adult cats. :rofl: I never get tired of an "arrogant cat" expression! Also, I think that's the first time I've ever seen a dog execute what my mummy always called the "dead cat convention" routine she gets all over the front porch every summer. (they cats all gather and flop on the front porch to sleep, and avoid the sun, one even used to crawl under the railing on it's back and then wrap his paws around the rail above him *rolls eyes* )

* giggles * jade: oh you should see some of the stuff my dogs and cats do. my one kitten sakura she's the gray kitten. she loves to come and sit in my lap underneath my laptop. i think it's for the warmth.. ein will jump up on the couch with you and spread out in the dead cat position and take up the whole couch pushing you off. he also like to lay with his body all twisted while on his back |
I don't remember all the details since the situation sickened me so much, but apparently there were a group of people having a barbecue party in their backyard with some friends or something. They were all drunk and were trying to get this dog to come over to them. The dog was scared so it tried to protect itself by barking, growling, and snapping at the people's hands. This pissed the drunks off, so they decided to teach the dog a lesson...by throwing it on the grill.
Neighbors tried to intervene and called the cops and such, but by the time they were able to get there, the poor dog had to be put down. I think the dog's name started with an "S"... Skippy or something like that? There was a big deal about it on all the news channels for a while. I don't really remember the outcome. |

Jessi- hehee, yeah, I've noticed that a lot of animals like to screw themselves up like that from time to time. I had a cat that liked to sit in my lap while I was on the computer, and then hang all over my arm while I'm trying to type. heh. Never did figure out why.
He also liked to lay under my chair (which was similar to a hammock) and attack the tag on it, thereby attacking my butt. Dimi- Wow! yeah, that's pretty well forked! I wouldn't have been nice enough to leave it at just calling the cops though. |

Yeah, it was a pretty messed up situation. I'll just say that people like that had better hope they never run into me and leave it at that. :stare:

I've never had any snakes for pets. I had a box turtle once. Oh, and I caught this big wolf spider once. I wanted to keep it as a pet, but I wasn't allowed to. :(

Sorry, a bunch of guys from work showed up. ^^; Anyways, just to answer Aryah's comment about doing a local charity...I can't because I have to pick from these listed charities. The Army does annual charity fund raising...can't remember what it stands for, but it's the CFC drive or something? I was considering Donor's Choose. I heard about it on The Colbert Report. You choose which projects you want to donate to. Teachers have to come up with what they need. Some of them are kind of ridiculous like requesting an iPad or an Elmo doll. But the ones asking for calculators and pencils or books make me sad. I want to help out those teachers. Problem is, I think I can only donate to the charity itself. I won't be able to pick out the exact cause I want to help. :/ |
