Some public libraries have a limited amount of time you can use a computer for.
Like at the one I go to, the maximum time you're allowed to use at one time is one hour. once the hour is up the computer logs you off automatically. |
that's interesting. I didn't know that since I've never really used computers at a public library.

Public library computers sucks truthfully they have restrictionsnon where u can go and it's just annoying. I know one library wouldn't let me on gaia

Yeh, I rarely use computers at public libraries. I use uni computers a lot but there's no time restrictions and as long as you're not looking at anything offensive or illegal which I wouldn't anyway, you can pretty much stay logged in as long as you want.

when my computer was broken the last few weeks of school, I did try it. I was BORED out of my mind, but it was too awkward and there aren't a lot of computer there so most people don't hang out on them for long period of time unless it's late at night.

Yeh, a lot of the time I log in just for the purpose of printing out stuff, which is usually study related. Sometimes I go on facebook, Menewsha and email...but yeh, if I started reading manga that'd be too time consuming, and other people would be annoyed.

and that is why laptops are a necessity for every college student!

LOL....I've survived so far without a laptop. I personally am not used to using a laptop at all, the feel of the keyboard and I'm not used to the not having a mouse factor.

o.o Y-you don't have a laptop?! like wow. and I totally can't live without mine. I'm attached to the internet at my fingertips. it takes a little getting used to using one, but I love my keyboard. the keys are so much easier to hit! and I do still use a mouse because my touchpad is broken and can't scroll.

My throat swelled shut. Aparently my tonsills are extremely swollen due to an infection but the quick culture came back neg for strep I just got a shot of antibiotics. That was uncomfortable I got it in my butt
