I went outside to smoke & saw an opposum, it gave me a heart attack.

Yeah it kinda reminds me of a creature thats part mole... part rat, eserel... I didn't throw anything at it though becuz they have sharp teeth. ><

Mhmm, tenten. I didn't like the movie that much... And the book was just so-so. I think the plot was pretty... simplistic and the language was high school, so definitely not the best written novel.

I had a terribly unnerving day yesterday.

My Mom has been in a nursing home in Fargo, ND, which is flooding.
They said they were evacuating her to Bismarck. So we waited and waited to find out whether it happened ok. My Mom has dementia, so she's very confused all the time. They got to Bismarck via plan ok, but then we found out that they put her in a van and were driving her to Bowman, ND...way down in the most SW part of ND that you can get. About a 4 hour drive from Bismarck.

Finally at 10:00 last night they arrived. She's now been set in a hospital there.
Poor thing. She's so tired. I was able to talk to her this morning. She said "I don't ever want to go through that again". I didn't have the heart to tell her that in a couple of weeks, it happens again, only going back the other way.

Then it will probably all have to be via car, since NW airlines only made planes available for evacuating...I doubt there will be planes for bringing them back. I hate being stuck here in Texas while she's going through all that. I wish they would have given us a choice as to where she was evacuated. One of my sisters is in Minneapolis. Seems to me they could have sent her there just as easily.
