Laharl was glad to hear that he wasn't bleeding and as soon as he seen Anna he was on his feet smiling and laughing.
"Did you see?! You were right, Martha really is scared of rats!!" He leaned in close to whisper his excitment, not wanting her to come out and hear that it was all his fault she'd been scared. "I think I busted my gut on that one!!" |
Admittedly, Anna was surprised by Laharl's sudden mood change but did'nt mind, grinning as soon as he had told her that he'd laughed hard at it. "Yeah, I did see!"
Anna also kept her voice fairly quiet, as to not catch Martha's attention. "Oh man, it was so funny. She seems like she-hulk or something until you get a rat near her, and then she goes completely insane." Anna's eye twitched, as if she were already plotting something. "This was way great. Man, who next? We've got to get someone else. We've gotten Etna and Martha so far..." Demitri sighed, standing at a short distance from the two. "Everyone's going to hate the day you two met." |
Laharl laughed as Anna shared in his glee...they could be one more deadly force if they teamed up on their pranks.
He thought for a moment and then chuckled. "You're always complaining...how about Flonne? I can't do anything too rash, but it might cool her enthusiasm a bit." |
Anna blinked, before grinning widely. "Yes! Perfect! Oh, man, this'll be great..."
Flonne's overwhelming enthusiasm sort of scared her. Just being able to dull it a bit would be great. "Alright, so, what should we do?" Demitri was sure this one would be funny. |
Laharl thought for a moment then pounded his fist into his other hand.
"Roaches....and Slugs, a whole bucket full of them, in a small bit of water, placed above a random door will be surely the stuff of nightmares...even if we don't pull it on Flonne someone's gotta fall for it." He grinned evilly and wrung his hands. |
Anna looked amazed.
"That is... awesome! Oh, man, this'll be great! We've definetly got everything needed on the ship somewhere, I'm sure of it. We have lots of buckets on deck so check them first... and I'm pretty sure we can find roaches in the kitchen somewhere, if not there, down in the same place you found that rat." She grinned wickedly. Admittedly the Captain was unusually excited. |
"Then let's get to it!!" He cried racing off to find a large bucket....and a large amount of slugs.

Anna ran off for the kitchen, which in no time she'd arrived at.
"Heeere, roach-y..." She looked around, and soon began opening cabinets, much like her blue-haired companion had been earlier. Her search ended in vain, as she could'nt find one. So Anna's epic quest for roaches lead her to the bilges, where it did'nt take her long to find both roaches and rats. Anna hadn't really put much thought as to what she was going to put the roaches in so ended up going BACK to the kitchen, getting a pot and a lid, and going BACK to the bilges, before getting quite the few inside of the pot and shutting the lid. "And this fairly disgusting victory is mine!" |
Laharl raced around with his bucket trailing every single slug he could find, there were a lot where the ship was moist and he found a few under a coil of rope. Soon the bottom of the borrowed bucket he had was filled with the nasty little creatures, he couldn't wait to show Anna.

Anna ran out of the bilges and back through the main room, heading for the deck with her pot of roaches.
Demitri watched from the table, which he was perched in the middle of. Anna looked enthusiastic. Admittedly he was worried... what exactly did she have in that pot, anyway? Martha walked up. "What's up?" Demitri stared in the direction Anna had went. "Looks like Anna has victory... in the pot." He began snickering madly, before gaining a glare from Martha. "I know there's some joke behind that but I'll tell you this now, you're not funny." |
Out on deck Laharl was leaned over his bucket, sloshing his concotion of slug, and water around and around..it was pretty slimy by that time.
Flonne made her way over and tried to peek at it. "What's in the bucket Laharl?" He smirked as he hid his treasure and stood. "Oh nothing that would intrest an Angel like you...it's something for Anna." He walked off and she smiled, clapping her hands. "Oh good they're making friends already!!" |
Anna ran up to Laharl. Only after making sure no one was looking, she opened the lid, revealing the large amount of roaches. "Ta-dah!"
She seemed quite proud of herself, although all she'd done was get a bunch of roaches in a pot. "I found loads down in the bilges." |
"Well Ta-da-dah!" Laharl announced showing off his own finds.
"Once we get this thing rigged, not only will our victim be covered in slime and roaches...but they're going to smell awfully bad as well." He leaned his nose into the bucket and jerked it back out. "Whew!! These guys smell worse than day old socks!" |
Anna grinned, looking at the bucket. She was pretty used to bad smelling things, as she'd smelled quite the few during her time as a pirate. "This is gonna be great. Now the question is... where exactly do we rig it at so we can try to get it to hit that love-freak?"
She put the lid back over the pot of roaches, just for, er... safe keeping. |
"Hmmmm...." That was a good question...where was Flonne most of the day...out on deck duh....
"Main door to the cabins?" He suggested. |
Anna nodded. "Alright, then, that's what we'll do!"
Anna was still excited. Finally, revenge on Flonne for constantly babbling about love crap all the time. "Eheh, this is gonna be gold. Alright, you wanna set it up? I'm guessing you've got the better idea on how to do this." |
He smiled and opened the door.
"I'll need a boost, but yeah." The plan was, Anna was to call Flonne in for some reason or another...say to help Abbie with the designs of her room, after she went inside, Laharl would rig the trap so that when she pushed the door open to head back out onto the deck, the bucket would fall right on top of her head, KER-SPLAT!..it was evil genius at it's finest. |
Anna grinned, enthusiastic as usual. "Alright, got you."
She opened the door to the deck. "Flonne! Hey, angel, you out here!?!" Anna was doing well at keeping a good 'poker face'. She'd done stuff like this alot so she was good at this part. |
Flonne was out on the deck just looking out over the ocean when Anna called her, she tilted her head and smiled.
"Okay!" She was always willing to be of some assistance. She headed inside and Laharl popped over the top, keeping the door from shutting all the way. He smirked and waited until she was out of the doorway to rig the prank. |
Anna grinned. Things were going exactly as planned. "Flonne, I think Abbie needed you for something, in my bedroom? You mind going to check that out?"
Demitri watched. At this moment he was perched in the middle of the table, quite enjoying the unfolding event. |
"Oh, alright." She smiled and headed to Anna's room catching sight of Dimitri on her way.
What's he got to smile about? She thought...then she remembered. Oh he's always like that...nevermind. |
After Flonne walked off, Anna snickering madly and done a thumbs up at Laharl.
Martha walked into the main room, spotting Demitri. "What's up?" A pause. Demitri spoke up. "I certainly hope Laharl doesn't... kick the bucket." Another pause. Martha walked over, punched him in the shoulder, and walked off. Demitri watched her walk off, looking quite irritated. He pointed a finger at her, holding his thumb up, in the gun hand gesture. "Bang." Sadly it did'nt do anything but he enjoyed it nonetheless. |
Laharl only ducked his head inside and did the same.
Minutes later Flonne made her way to the outside door. "That's funny..." She muttered. "Abbie didn't need me for anything after all..." She shrugged and smiled, pushing out on the cracked door...... SPLASH! Flonne screamed once as the bucket fell on her head and dumped all it's contents out onto the deck. She was covered in slugs, roaches and water...she shrieked as she felt something moving down her shirt and dug into it to remove a rather...large...rather.....nasty looking Roach that had fell down the front of her clothes. |
Anna was seen in the background, absolutely cracking up at the results of the prank. It worked exactly as they'd wanted it to.
Demitri seemingly popped up next to Anna, blinking in surprise. "Oh, my... so that's what was in that pot. You seemed awfully proud, considering all you'd done was catch a bunch of roaches..." Anna was too busy laughing to respond. |
Flonne was too busy with her.....'friends' to notice, but right above her head, sat Laharl rolling back and forth on his perch...well, he was until he rolled too far and fell to the deck unable to stop.
"LAHARL!!!" She cried reaching for a spot on her back that a slug had fell down. "GET THESE THINGS OFF MEE!!!!!" He couldn't respond...too busy laughing..then he saw Anna...and that made it all the worse. |
