The Silent Doll 09-30-2007 11:58 PM

(I want to personally apologize for my slow responses, I've been really busy here lately and only been on about two different websites, being honest!)

Anna sat there for a moment, before grinning and standing up. "Fine, then! But don't think you can beat me! I'll be even taller than you'll ever be, and I'll be even stronger than you'll ever be!"
Martha watched the two, chin in her hand. Geez, they were so much alike, it was kind of creepy. "Weirdos..."

"Really? I don't think you're telling me the truth...", growled the girl, pulling her into the room and slamming the door shut, locking it behind her. "What exactly are you trying to find out, sneaking around like that? I'm pretty sure you're lieing... you seem too nervous to be telling the truth, I can tell you that right here."

Hatch 11-16-2007 02:21 AM

((Aaannnd here we go!))

Laharl laughed, Humans were so much fun when they cut loose and embraced their inner demon. Fighting was something that he liked more than most things...more than anything really, well..he wouldn't go that far...kicking Prinnies was still one of his favorite pastimes, fighting came in a close second.
He stopped then...fighting....fighting....Asylum...he would be fighting Asylum...without...a proper sword...
He turned to look at the one that he carried at hi side, and grimaced. It was practiaclly rusting off the hilt. He poked at a spot of what he thought to be blood and shuddered. Then with a twist of his eyebrows, he was angry...it was just a show, but it did the job.
"ETNA!!!! FLONNE!!"

Flonne let out a shriek as she was hauled into the girl's room, she hit the wall and pressed her back to it.
"N-Now w-why would I-I lie? I'm an Angel r-remember? W-we don't do that." She scooted around trying to find a way out without having to go past the other girl.
"ETNA!! FLONNE!!"
"Oh! Laharl!" She turned and smiled nervously.
"See? Laharl's already calling for me. Won't you unlock the door...he'll be terribly cross if I don't show up soon."

The Silent Doll 11-16-2007 02:41 AM

(Yay! Alrighty, then, here goes.)

Anna grimaced as Laharl yelled, lowering her hand. What exactly was he fussing about, now? She had seen him glance down towards his sword; was that the problem?
Well, it did look kind of old, rusty, even. Hadn't he thought to get a different one before he left? He really wasn't that smart, was he?
"Oh, no, did the little Prince forget his good sword?", she mocked, leaning down to look at it. "I see you hidin' stuff in your scarf. Did'nt you bring an extra or somethin'?"

Etna, who was busy minding her own business, that meant in the sense that she was currently setting up a prank to play on Anna, was caught off-guard as she heard the Prince yell. Oh, that familiar noise.
How she hated it.
"Augh, he's all worked up over something again. Geez, Prince, don't we ever get some sort of break...?", she hissed to herself, before turning heel and heading for the deck, yelling as loudly as she could. "COMING, PRINCE!!"

The orange haired girl blinked slightly as Laharl yelled. What was that demon kid all fussy about. "Whatever, fine. You're off, for this time... after all, from the sound of things, you're in deep already. That guy sounds pretty ticked."
She unlocked the door, opening it and glancing over towards Flonne. "But I've still got my eye on you."

Hatch 11-16-2007 02:49 AM

Laharl gritted his teeth.
"No, why would I have a sword in my scarf? that's ridiculous." He turned to where Etna had called and cupped his hands around his mouth.
"HURRY UP!!"

Flonne in the meantime, was thanking her lucky stars...one by one, and nodded, bowing as she shot out the door.
"You bet he's ticked." She was smiling...dolt, but she ran off like she was late for the last train out of hell....which...she kind of was.

"What is it Laharl?" Flonne said as she finally made it on deck.
"We're going to have to go back to the Netherworld."
"What why!? I thought we were after Asylum."
"We are."
"But then--" He shoved the blade under her nose and scowled.
"Does that look like it'll do me much good?"
"Umm..no?"
"That's right, and while we're there, everyone else might as well stock up....I'm not going to be taking all the slack for bad equipment."

The Silent Doll 11-16-2007 03:02 AM

Etna had walked out just in time. "What!? We're going back to the Netherworld? Aawww, Prince! Well, fine. These guys kind of smell funny, anyway."
A bit of a pause occured, before Martha delivered a swift smack to the back of Etna's head, before addressing Laharl. "Heck, there is no way ALL of us are going. Knowing you guys it'll take longer than you say... in other words, take the Captain with you so we can get a break."

An even longer pause ocurred as Anna's jaw dopped slightly. "W-what!?! No! No, no, no! That place is SO weird. It's... just... no, I'm staying with my ship! You guys'll probably let a bunch of birds crap all over it or something and NOT clean it. I mean, what will I do if I come back and it's wrecked or something!?"

"And this is WHY we want you to go.", sighed Martha. "Constantly freaking out over your ship. Seriously, it won't take THAT long."
"You probably just jinxed it...", chuckled Etna. "Well, alright, so... The Prince, Flonne, the Captain and I are all going, obviously. Anyone else?"

There were no raised hands... not until Abel scuttled forward, looking a little nervous. After all, he quite disliked the Netherworld, but he'd go with Anna, if he had to. "I-I'll go. As much as I may not want to."
He quickly made his way over to Flonne, twitching a little. Ugh, I can't believe I'm doing this....

Anna nodded, before pointing a finger at the invisible to most Demitri. "It looks like I'm being forced to go, so... alrighty, you're gonna open the portal thing you did before, and you stay here so incase anything happens, you can reopen it. Okay?"
Demitri nodded, looking quite unenthusiastic as he picked at his left ear. "Yeah, yeah..."

Hatch 11-16-2007 03:08 AM

Laharl pouted.
"It's not that weird." He protested.
"At least not as weird as this place." He nodded, crossing his arms and for once....for a brief psychotic moment, agreed with Martha.

Flone smiled down at last relieved to be far away from the other girl, and nodded reassuringly to Abel.
"It'll be alright." She muttered.
"I'm sure of it." She turned to Demitri and waved 'bye'. For what little time she'd known him...he was alright..not really the kind you'd want to invite to an ice cream social, but nice at any rate.

The Silent Doll 11-16-2007 03:23 AM

Abel nodded towards Flonne. "I hope you're right. I had been stuck down there for ages, though... it's just tiring, knowing I have to go back--"
Demitri suddenly yelled loudly, although not everyone could hear. "ALRIGHT, THEN, I'M OPENING THIS THING NOW!"
It did'nt seem to take too much effort for him; he pointed a finger directly ahead of himself, causing a bizzare, glowing void to rip through the atmosphere, leaving a large, odd looking hole.

Anna still was startled a little by seeing it, but, whatever. She'd seen weirder stuff in the Netherworld... man, did she dread going back. She simply stood there for a minute, not moving... until Etna ran up to her and shoved her into the portal, and then following after her, laughing.

Abel gulped hard, before also following. He possibly dreaded it more than Anna.

Hatch 11-16-2007 03:28 AM

Laharl sighed and then hopped in after his Vassal, Flonne following after Abel, then Mint and Dagger jumped in, still arguing over something, while Lollie, Saiet, and Abbie, all shook their heads...they'd come prepared...why couldn't their Prince have done the same? Innes took a final glance back and then bowed. He was sure that he'd see them all again soon...much to his dismay...the Netherworld suited him so much better than the wide open sea...he was stil queasy from the Tortuga stop. He was the last one through and all to happy to find himself back home.

The Silent Doll 11-16-2007 03:35 AM

They all stood around, staring at the portal for a moment, before Martha spoke up. "The Captain better get back okay... I can't watch her constantly like she's some little girl, though. Hopefully she'll take care of herself."

Anna was not so pleased to be back in Laharl's castle as she glanced around, an extremely irritated look on her face, more so when she spotted some nearby demons. "Oh, man!! I can't believe this. I'm a pirate, not a demon!"
"Stop complaining.", sighed a tired looking Abel, as he walked up next to her. "Hopefully we won't be here for very long. You'll live."
"I'd better...", grumbled Anna as she crossed her arms, glancing around, only to spot a very happy looking Etna, who currently had her arms behind her head.

"It is GREAT to be back!", Etna exclaimed, grinning widely. "Man, never thought I'd be happy to be back at the workplace..."
"Talk about it.", Abel agreed in an unenthusiastic tone of voice.

Hatch 11-16-2007 03:44 AM

Flonne spun around and around, her flight had made her just a wee bit dizzy and she leaned against the nearest wall, Laharl however, got straight down to business.
"You, you and you." He said pointing to Flonne, Anna, and Etna in order.
"Stay here...the rest of you stock up! I don't want to have to come back here before Asylum's dead, we may be pushing our chances of getting back to the Human World as it is." He stomped off in the direction of the Rosen Queen shops while the other vassals just looked amongst themselves....it was weird when the Prince was so serious. The two warriors didn't question that though...they just wanted to fight...that was all that they needed, so with smiles, they pranced off after him.

The Silent Doll 11-16-2007 04:10 AM

Back on the deck of Anna's ship, Demitri got this twisted grin on his face. "I think I'm going to mess with them for a while... after all, maybe Anna will learn something down there. I doubt it, she doesn't seem very smart, but..."
Martha stood there. "Oh, christ. What are you going to do?"
Demitri laughed, flicking his hand and watching as the portal... closed. "I'll take the punishment later, but... haha! This is for her playing all those pranks on me, little jerk. Unless there's someone down there who can open a portal here specifically, she'll be stuck there for a while."
"You really are a jerk.", sighed Martha, waving her index finger. "Well, whatever. Looks like we've got a break, without the Captain here to tell us to do stuff..."

Anna stood there. "Oh, great, so now I just stand still. Why should I have to listen to shorty?"
"Well...", began Abel, looking up at Anna. "Actually, I'd be paranoid. You made him clean the ship, so... if you're here for too long, who knows what you'll have to do."
"Oh, man, you're in big time!", laughed Etna. "You better be happy we're probably not gonna be here for too long. You'd be in trouble, otherwise, Captain!"

Anna stared for a minute. That would be really humiliating, now that she thought about it... "Thank goodness I don't think we'll be here for too long. There's no way I'm taking orders from shorty over there!"
"You just did when he told you to stand there.", pointed out Abel, which only caused Anna to glare for a minute and then proceed to move to a different spot and stand there instead.

Hatch 11-16-2007 04:17 AM

((LOL she's so funneh))

Flonne, who's world had stopped spinning by this time, looked between the three of them.
"Etna how long does it usually take for Laharl to get nwe equipment?" She'd never really been shopping with him, so she wondered how long it would be before she was back on the ship...not that she really wanted to see the orange haired girl so soon..but she was curious.

"Hmm.....HHHmmmmm.....no....hhmmmno.....no...n o?" Said Prince was busy looking over the entire selection of swords..much to the annoyance of the cashier.
"Will you just pick something?" He mumbled earing himself a glare and a snort.
"Maybe I'll just have to go over them all again." Came the snippy remark from the Overlord. A sigh, and the clerk started the line over.

The Silent Doll 11-16-2007 04:36 AM

(Ah, Anna, that rebel. XD)

Etna glanced over at Flonne; well, it had been a while. How long had he usually taken? Well... "I don't remember, I know it took him a while, though. He's really picky."
"That sounds like him.", spoke Abel, who watched Anna as she went about looking around... and trying to avoid any demons. Doesn't seem like she's adjusting very well...

Anna was definetly having an interesting experience as she looked around. This place was just as bizzare as the demons she'd met were. She did'nt really understand how anyone could live here, but there again, they did'nt seem to get how she could live on a ship, so...

Hatch 11-19-2007 02:51 PM

While Anna was wandering around, there were a few demons that stopped what they were doing and stared at her. What was a Human doing here? How had she gotten there? And what was the Prince going to do...these Demons had obviously not been there when Anna first arrived....otherwise..they would have simply walked on without giving her a second glance.

Dagger and Mint were off to the other side waiting for Laharl to finish, they'd watched as he went through the selection over five times already and they were about to fall asleep.
"I wish he'd hurry...I want to get back to the ship.."
"I hear that...it's kind of boring here if you really think about it..."
"No kidding." Obviously...their attention spans were shorter than they realized.

The Silent Doll 11-19-2007 09:43 PM

Anna watched Laharl for a minute, looking extremely disgruntled. She was ready to get back to her beloved ship; after all, she did'nt trust her crew members alone with it. They weren't that responsible... of course, she wasn't exactly aware of the fact that she was being watched.

She glanced about for a minute, before approaching Laharl. "So, how long exactly do you take to pick out a sword? Hurry, already! I'm worried about my ship. There again I should be more worried about us going back and you being near the ship, considering what happened last time..."
Shuddering a little about the thought, the Captain crossed her arms. "Seriously, you're like a teenage girl shopping for shoes when it comes to swords..."

Abel, on the other hand, was busy watching Dagger and Mint go back and forth about how tiresome the Castle was. He agreed completely, after being forced to work here for a while. He wasn't necessarily a mean person but being a pirate, well, he wasn't actually a good person, so he ended up in the Netherworld rather than Celestia.
Which was just unfortunate, on his part, atleast. That and he stuck out among the Prinnies, what with retaining his old hair color, only now he looked like a large, purple penguin...

Hatch 11-20-2007 02:09 AM

Laharl sniffed loking over the selection again, ignoring Anna for the most part.
"I've narrowed it down already...I'm debating between two now.." He held them up and nodded to each in turn.
"Vajra...or Masamune?" He asked seriously wanting Anna's opinion.

"Oh good grief..." Abbie sighed looking back.
"Nevermind...it's still going to be a while." The others just flopped back down where they were waiting and smiled...at least they were getting a break.

The Silent Doll 11-20-2007 02:35 AM

Anna's concern for her ship suddenly vanished, atleast so it seemed, as she looked over the two swords. "Huh... well..."
"That one.", she confirmed, pointing at Vajra. "Yeah, that one."
Giving a matter-of-factly nod, she was obviously sure of her opinion. "I think it'll be better than the other one. But you're the one usin' it, so..."

Abel soon turned his attention over to Anna and Laharl, looking vaguely disturbed. "Oh, great, now it'll probably take even longer..."
"Talk about it.", Etna sighed. "Looks like I was right, it DOES take ages..."

Hatch 11-20-2007 02:45 AM

He blinked, Laharl was half-expecting her to give some smart ass comment and then walk off. But she'd given her honest opinion so he smiled.
"Great, Vajra it is!" He turned back to the clerk and dangled over the counter childishly while his total was rung up.
"You don't suck at picking weapons after all." He said as-a-matter-of-factly. It came out rude and mean, but it was the Prince's way of giving a compliment.

"But they do seem to find the strangest things to have in common." Flonne pointed out.
"Just look..they're not fighting."

The Silent Doll 11-20-2007 03:16 AM

Anna grinned, watching him act a bit like a child, although she did'nt guess there was anything right with that. "I don't guess you do, either. Heh, thanks either way."
She stood there for a minute, her mind quickly returning to the subject of her ship; she bet her crew members were messing it up right now. They probably had it in for her, those jerks...

"So?", Etna sighed. "Seriously, who cares other than you, Flonne? You get so worked up over this 'getting along' stuff..."

Hatch 11-20-2007 03:25 AM

With sword in hand, and happy-go-lucky fighting freaks in tow, Laharl met up with the others near the Gatekeeper.
"Are we all ready this time?" He asked like it wasn't his fault they had to come back.
Flonne in the meantime, had stuck her tounge out at Etna.
"There's nothing wrong with it Etna, who knows, beofre long you might even find someone you get along with."

The Silent Doll 11-20-2007 03:37 AM

Anna had followed after, and soon joined up with Abel, leaning down to look at him for a minute. "You look kinda familiar."
"I... do, Dood?", he said, glancing off to the side. "Well, I should'nt, Dood. I don't even know you that well, Dood."
"Yeah...", responded Anna, who stood back up straight. "Aaalrighty, then, let's get out of here."

Etna rolled her eyes. "I DO get along with someone. Me! And, besides, Flonne, those two are a couple of freaks. It's no wonder they get along! And even so, they don't get along that often, do they? Anyway..."
She gave an enthusiastic wave to the Prince, along with her trademark devilish-grin. "Yep, Prince! Let's get out of here... if you've GOT everything, this time."

Hatch 11-20-2007 03:50 AM

Laharl nodded and turned to the Gatekeeper expectanly.
"Well..." He asked after a moment.
"Prince...it would seem that the portal you used before....is now inoperable."
"It's what.."

Flonne sighed, and smiled...Etna was going to meet her match one day...and Flonne couldn't wait.

"What do you mean 'inoperable'?"
"Just what I said Prince...the Gate to the Human Ship is no longer accessible."
"You have got to be kidding." She lifted her eyebrows and simply responded.
"Do I look like I'm kidding?"

The Silent Doll 11-20-2007 04:01 AM

Anna's jaw dropped; what did she mean, inoperable!? "You... no! No, I have to get back to my ship! Can't you open a portal or something!? Aw, crap! I can't be away for too long, I'm not leaving those guys with my ship!!"

Etna blinked, looking very vaguely surprised. "Oh, no. Well, uh, guess we'll be here for a while--"
Anna quickly pointed at her, growling and gritting her teeth. "SHUT UP!! Don't jinx it or something, we ARE getting back to my ship! Come on, seriously, there has to be a way. I left Demitri with the portal, I mean, he would'nt had closed it..."

Abel sighed; he disagreed fully, being quite sure Demitri would do such a thing just to get back at Anna for playing pranks on him so much. "Oh, goodness..."

Hatch 11-20-2007 04:13 AM

The Gatekeeper looked to Anna and shook her head.
"I'm sorry, but without an area in your side that is seceptible to my ablity, I cannot open a portal there. Until such a time as the Human side is accepting of my magic...then I'm afraid that you as well as the Prince and other Vassals..are stuck here."

Flonne looked down at Abel her own 'oh goodness' echoing his.
"You don't suppose--" She whispered behind her hand to the Prinny.
"Demitri wouldn't have...would he?"

The Silent Doll 11-20-2007 04:19 AM

Anna looked extremely stressed out; it was horrible news, to her, after all. "No way... oh, man, I can't believe this! I need to be there with my ship, and the ocean, and my... crew members..."
She sighed, simply plopping down on the floor and rubbing her forehead in frusturation. "I can't believe this. It'll be freaking ages before I get back! I should've just stayed behind, there was no use in me coming, anyway!"

Abel glanced over at Flonne, nodding and whispering back. "I think it was... he's not mean but Anna used to play alot of mean jokes on him. All of us are used to the Netherworld, but she's not... either that or he wants her to learn something, it could easily be either one when it comes to him. Maybe both."
