I'm certain that most of the population will die off far into the future when we lose all of our essential resources.
We multiply like ants and spread to vast areas. We take down forests for homes and dump toxins into our waters. I think this is mostly due to an increase in population. Without so many people on our earth, it would be such a beautiful place. It wouldn't have much litter, and the resources would replinish at an incredible rate. I just think that us humans in such tremendous numbers will eventually run the world dry. That'll be the end of the world, I think. |
I think the one thing that will end the world as we n=know it is climate change/global warming if we all just do our bit then it will be fine but were not so i think it will be climate change/global warming.

Hmm...I think humans will. With the way the world is now , it wont last much longer. But I don't think we'll all just die out before Jesus comes. ^w^

I don't take the end of the world and the extinction of humanity to mean the same thing. After all, maybe we'll obliterate ourselves in some ridiculous nuclear war, but Earth will still be there, and possibly even still have life on it which would recover from our extinction.
I'd say the Earth is likely to get hit by a giant comet. Or perhaps all life will be snuffed out by the radioactive discharge of a distant supernova? Ruling out everything else though, it'll still be fried to a crisp when the sun evolves into a red giant. Whether we're smart enough to have invented hyperspace travel and have bailed out by then, nobody can say :D |
Religiously; The anti-Christ will end the World.
The marked man will descend into Hell and the man accepted will be birthed into Heaven. Scientifically or Opinionated; The World and Mankind will not end at the same time. The Human Animal will die long before Earth does. Either we end up causing a major Ice Age, which indeed the human kind did survive one previously, that is so bad we all end up croaking because our bodies are unable to keep up. We end up killing each other {Which, is likely}. Global Warming kills off most major life resources. Without, we die slowly. Something from space crashes into the Earth again, and A: either kills us all because of it detonating resources and smogging up the oxygen. Or B: Causes Plates to shift in the Earth so tremendously, it causes major global disasters. Which also kills off many. Of course most of this will probably happen later in time, and they're chances that man will survive it. But it could turn tables and end up doing the opposite. The World will end when the Sun Blows up as will this whole universe. Now I believe in the science department that, Global Warming kills most of us off. No telling if it would be that bad to kill us ALL off. But most will die if it does happen. The Rest will die shortly after, when resources become scarce or poof off the face of the Earth. Years later, the Universe ends after the Sun explodes. |
Either we all die due to global warming, or we all kill ourselves in a huge nuclear warfare.
As for the earth itself? Well, that will go when the sun blows up. |

i believe that global warming will be the cause of the world ending. the earth with dry up and eventually become a huge rock covered with dust with no life whatsoever. then itll somehow get sucked into the sun xD
my other theory is possibly a huge meteor knocking us off course of our orbit with the sun and then well be sucked into some black hole or the suns magnetic force :] |

I think that if my fiance
farts just one more time after he eats a garlic pizza then he will seriously end the world with it as it reeks and could easily kill a possum, if one was really close for some strange reason. But yeah you don't want to be near him when he farts like that, its disgusting and you literally have to leave the room |

No, but really, I think I posted before- the sun will blow up in billions of years, science has prooved it. :3 If the world were to end before that, I'd probably assume either aliens killed all of us or we had a a war between every country all at once and nuc-ed the world all at once and BAM everyone dies...o.0 OR the world could have a secret internal explosion, making the world explode. There are actually books out on this. Supposedly, its supposed to end in 2012, four years, but personally, I don't believe it.
But, if there would be something that would end earth as we know it, it would be people. We've destroyed the earth as we know it so far, so, why wouldn't we just completely end it? |
I think earth would probably be destroyed by pollution, depletion of natural resources, and global warming. I mean, countries such as the United States pollute the air and environment so much it can't even me helped anymore. We're depleting resources longer than we can replenish them. Environmental pollution is most likely to be the end of our world.
