The Valentine's Hairpin is open to everybody, including past winners.

Ayla is right, more than once or twice would be multiple. Karla, you can do that, but of course, its not encouraged to raise bids too much. Simply because we are aiming for deflation rather than inflation. But yes, you can do that. ^^ Multiple times like 5 or more is obviously common sense not to keep bidding 1K that many times in a row. But just refrain from excessively updating bids in general, but of course, I can see why users want to. ^^ Hope that answers the question.

Popcorn Gun 12-29-2007 02:16 AM

Just one question, to make sure before I get myself banned.
>__<
We only have to do rule 14 once per auction right?

After that we can just bid, correct?

Zweres 12-29-2007 02:30 AM

Yes, only one per auction.

titaneatomoe 12-29-2007 03:41 PM

questions:

1.do all the auctions end on saturdays?

2.Im sure the answer will be no...but i still would like to ask...is there anyway to end the auction earily or later...I work saturday night's so i wont be able to bid to the end of the auction.

Spring`Tyme Fresh 12-29-2007 06:00 PM

I think I can help you out Titaneatomoe.

1. Not necessarily. They start and end depending on Aeris' and Zweres' home life schedules. Say if they know they will be at work saturday night, but not sunday, they will start and end it on the sunday instead. This applies for any other day of the week too. And,

2. Unfortunately, I doubt they are going to change the ending time of an auction for the sake of one person. You'll just have to wait for a time that you can bid during the ending of it.

titaneatomoe 12-29-2007 06:10 PM

k thanks. I guess i'll have to wait for the next auction and hope it dosent end on a saturday again. that is if i can resist buying art (is a art a holic)

Caroline 12-29-2007 09:26 PM

  • The FAQ was not updated for this week's auction... I am assuming we will just follow the rule meant for the eleventh auction then, yes?

CrepsleyKabob 12-29-2007 10:22 PM

Caro - actually, it was updated, make sure you read it extremely carefully ><;;

Caroline 12-29-2007 10:51 PM

  • OH, I see. Thanks :oops:
    Good thing I didn't make a bid before I checked back here. xD;;

CrepsleyKabob 12-29-2007 11:04 PM

no problem caro ^^ wouldn't want you to get banned from the auction Dx;;

also, I suck with time zones, so I just wanna make sure, 5 PM PST is about 2 hours from this post, right? ^^;

Caroline 12-30-2007 12:36 AM

  • D:
    I got banned.
    I think for bidding the same amount as a previous bid because I didn't see it.
    And yes, the auction ends in twenty-five minutes. Good luck ^^

CrepsleyKabob 12-30-2007 12:54 AM

Aww I saw D: that sucks :(
Maybe next time... <3

Anyways, thanks! haha xD 5 minutes o3o;;

Zweres 12-31-2007 05:38 AM

The 13th auction will start tomorrow, and most likely end on Saturday.

Kongouseki 01-01-2008 02:52 AM

titaneatomoe 01-01-2008 03:07 AM

will it end saturday again? cause if it dose then i wont be able to outbid anyone again T_T

Wendy Darling 01-01-2008 04:46 AM

Ugh, le sigh, I already got banned. And on my first participated auction. T_____T

Guess I shouldn't have posted anything more besides one bid to start. I already just got so into it. This is where it gets me: banned. D:

I guess I can try again next week.

`F o a m 01-01-2008 04:58 AM

I understand that I messed up but what happened to the three strike system?

Three strikes and you are banned forever from the auctions. XD

`F o a m 01-01-2008 05:01 AM

Oh. :|
Well I think I'm done with these auctions anyway.

Zweres 01-01-2008 05:49 AM

I added Rule 27 because it was hectic to change bids if they were banned, and then they kept bidding, its difficult to differentiate between banned bids or not.

People need to thoroughly read the rules. You can potentially obtain Crowns, Welcome Items, and Valentine's Day Items. Its not asking much to take that 15 minutes or so to read the rules.

Wendy Darling 01-01-2008 06:48 AM

Eeee, I did read the rules -- many many MANY times. It's just so much to retain, and I'm really bad at retaining stuff. Well. This is the first and last time I'll screw up. I just hope that you guys have enough hairpins left for me to participate in in the future auctions.

I am NOT going to be screwing up again, trust me. >w<

Thanks for at least giving me another chance, guys.

naida 01-01-2008 11:41 AM

I'd just like to say I LOVE THIS IDEA <33
the v-day items are like the dream I'd given up on, but maybe perhaps I have a small chance of getting the items with this auction ^__^
I'd have thought the bids would be super inflated, but apparently not <3
I love Aeris and Zweres!

kuroitsuki 01-01-2008 04:54 PM

Happy New Year everyone!

It seems that nescia and I have posted almost the same time for a bid on the V-Day Hairpin (there's a one minute difference on our posts, I think) Well, by the time I hit the reply button, the topic review does not have her post yet. So I was kinda careful, reviewing the text that I was about to post.

We have the same bid, but her post was the first one. Am I allowed to post again (right after my previous post) to change my bid? n_n;;

Here's the url:

nescia 01-01-2008 05:05 PM

Haha.
I was wondering what happened there.
I was worried that I had done something wrong and my bid didn't count or something.
xD

Zweres 01-01-2008 05:23 PM

^^ Yes, you can, if that is the case.
