Firefox Add-ons
Well I hadn't seen this around and was curious about what everyone uses for firefox.
Do you use the regular program, without any add-ans? I used to but out of boredom I had just glimpsed through the firefox site and well now I've found many useful ones for myself. Anyone else use add-ons? What have you found that you find useful? For those who don't know you can find add-ons here: http://www.google.com/search?q=firef...ient=firefox-a Ones I've found useful is: Yoono toolbar, stumble, bbcode toolbar because I can't always keep my code in paste as a mod. There's more but I think I'll stick with this list for now. |
I use Ad Blocker Plus and Bug Me Not. Both pretty great tools, especially ABP if pop-ups slow your computer down... and if you just hate looking at ads.
I never used any of the add-ons available for Firefox.
I have a few Firefox add-ons. I have FoxyTunes, the Tektek Gaia toolbar thing, a download thing (the download list pops up in screen at the bottom). I have more on the computer that I use at my grandparent's house though.
I don't have firefox. how do you get it? is it better than most other programs?

It's much better than Internet Explorer. |
mozilla.com? okay cool! thank you very much! i'm gonna go get it now.
I have the Neopets toolbar from when I was a premium member, and I have the Tektek toolbar for Gaia. I'm waiting for someone to make a Menewsha toolbar.
Right now I only use adblock, there was a few more of add-ons that interested me but so far I only sticked with adblock. Now you remind me that it's about the time I should check the update on add-ons section to see if there's any new interesting features come out.
I have ad-block and greasemonkey. I used to have stumbleupon, but didn't really like it.
Oh man, I would not survive without Firefox add-ons. Most of mine are either intended to make my general on-line experience easier (blocking ads, checking for updates, checking e-mail), but I've also a few site-specific extensions. Most of those are for Livejournal, although I do have the Gaiabar for its custom format and emoticon options.
I'd list them all, but it would take forever. |
I honestly cannot live without Adblock Plus. I tried using Firefox without it and the ads drove me NUTS! :x
I have Download Helper, StumbleUpon, TekTek toolbar, and UnPlug Media.
Plus a bunch of miscellaneous themes. I should get that ad thing... |
I have quite a few! -giggle
Let's see here; Greasemonkey AdBlocker Linkification Stylish VideoDownloader deviantMessage I also have a few random addons. |D[ |
I dont really use the add-ons, I do like Firefox though, found it to be way more stable then IE
I only have VideoDownloader. There are some Youtube clips that I have to keep. :)
I haven't used any Firefox add-ons, but I'd love to try some. ^^ I'm just kinda lazy to do anything about it...
I have the adblock, tektek toolbar, and the Google notebook thing as add-ons. I haven't really looked for add-ons for Firefox, though I like Firefox a little more than IE.
I don't use any. I tried a different theme before, but ended up not using it.
AdBlock Plus
A bookmark toolbar maker that makes it so I can make a second toolbar (xD; I'm toolbar crazy.. along with bookmark crazy) bookmark&password exporter some others, but I really do use them much.. |
i use FoxyTunes, EditCSS, GaiArch, and the Tektek toolbar.
dont have them
i dont know if i will ever use them |
I don't have any on this computer but on my desktop I've got the Ad-blocker Add-on. I am curious to download that BBCode Toolbar you mentioned but I can't seem to find it on Mozilla's page.
Oh I jumpped when I heard you can get an ad blocker, so that's my main thing I have on mine, though I also have download helper and tektek bar.
I use my Gaia Online and IMVU toolbars, as well as an ad-blocking extension for my Firefox. I find it much faster and less prone to crashing than IE, as well as being less likely to be attacked by viruses, as virus-makers are fond of targeting Microsoft a lot (hence why I don't use MSN, either). I highly recommend Firefox, especially for this reason - when it crashes (rare), it lets you go back to the pages you were in, which IE doesn't do. In other words, if you had 3 pages open, it'll open up all the pages for you, to where you were. Very handy :)
