Songs about you? (Or just your name)
Sometimes there are songs that talk about a specific person, and has their name in the song. Then everyone with that name can say "Hey, that songs about me!" and so on. Songs like Billy Jean (Micheal Jackson), Sweet Caroline (Neil Diamond), Her name was Lola (Barry Manilow), Peggy Sue (Buddy Holly), Roxanne (The Police) and so on. So... are there any songs with 'your' name in them?
Unfortunately I have a song that's about a girl with my name... who lives in the same city I live in... I say it's 'unfortunate' because it calls this girl fat and dumb through out the song ^.^; It's like a song dedicated to insulting me ^.^; You may of heard it. It was played on an old Betty Boop cartoon. It's called Kitty from Kansas City. My name is Kitty, and I happen to live in Kansas City... None that I know of, no. I rather doubt it. I know one Icelandic song that mentions Alan Alda, and then there are songs that mention waves (wave in Icelandic = alda), but that's about it.
My friend, María, hates songs that mention her name. Unfortunately, there are loads who do. |

I have a song with my name it. It's by Pure Praire League. It's called Amy(Falling in and out of love with you). My mom used to sing it to me all the time when i was a baby. it was half of the songs that i could go to sleep with. It's a really great song. has anybody ever heard it?

I've never heard of a song with the name "Angela" in it apart from my friend randomly putting my name into songs as he skips about me, or towards me
BUT My friend Maria hates the Blondie song "Maria" 'cos everyone sings it to her, and as I'm a Blondie fan, i tend to sing it absentmindedly and she goes off on one at me. My old Form tutor randomly started to sing to too as he handed out letters and Maria kinda exploded :D it was funny to watch |
You should tell your friend maria to listen to santana. she might like his song. i believe it's called maria, maria. there's also a country song( the artist escapes me right now) called My Maria. she might like one of those two songs. Star Valo, you might try that. maybe she'll like them.

I don't think I've heard too many songs with my name in it. It's alright, though, because people talk about me at the dinner table pretty much world-wide. 8)
Umm~ I think Mika has a song called "Grace Kelly," and if you cut out the Kelly I'd be really flattered. As is? I get all weepy because my middle name isn't... well, Kelly. |
